Dashboard Confessional on Tour
Expect robust crowd participation when seeing Dashboard Confessional, a band that sonically splits the difference between R.E.M.-like jangle-rock and moodier emo-pop. The group favors cathartic songwriting full of deep, meaningful lyrics, ensuring that beloved singles such as "Screaming Infidelities" and "Vindicated" draw loud audience sing-alongs.
Early in their career, Dashboard Confessional toured with like-minded peers Weezer and Brand New, while in 2007 they went on the Rock Band Live Tour with Panic! at the Disco. In recent years, Dashboard Confessional have toured with Third Eye Blind and, in 2020, launched a 20th anniversary tour celebrating their vast catalog.
Dashboard Confessional in Concert
Chris Carrabba initially started Dashboard Confessional as a solo acoustic project when he was still fronting another band, the Florida-based emo rock act Further Seems Forever. When the vocalist/guitarist/songwriter left that group to focus on his own music, he quickly issued the second Dashboard Confessional album, The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most, in 2001. That album went gold and contained the song "Screaming Infidelities," which became a Top 25 alternative radio chart hit and spawned a music video that won the MTV2 award at the MTV Video Music Awards.
From there, Dashboard Confessional was off and running. Album number three, 2003's gold-certified A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar, reached No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 and spawned the hit "Hands Down." The song "Vindicated" featured prominently in the 2004 film Spider-Man 2 and reached No. 2 on the modern rock charts. Carrabba and crew continued on a hot streak with another gold album (2006's Dusk and Summer, which also topped the U.S. Top Rock Albums chart) and more studio work. Dashboard Confessional released the studio album Crooked Shadows in 2018 and celebrated their 20th anniversary by releasing a greatest hits album, The Best Ones of the Best Ones, in 2020.

Dashboard Confessional put on an amazing show. They played nearly all familiar songs and just a few new ones. The Pageant was the perfect venue to host them - big enough to hold a crowd but small enough that no matter where you stood or sat, you could see the band. 10/10 would love to see them again!
It was wonderful to see dashboard again for the third time they sound amazing I swear the lead singer does not age their band was absolutely wonderful the crowd was so intense they had to turn up the microphone he could not hear himself thing. The other thing was is Boys Like Girls was there they have a performed in a 11 year with their first tour back and the crowd went insane for them too and they sounded amazing welcome back Boys Like Girls. Always a pleasure to see dashboard confessionals they never disappoint
BLG was insanely good live. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to.
I flew out from the UK alone for this. It was absolutely phenomenal! Absolutely the best night! I purposely choose this Dashboard date because it was Taylor Acorn's birthday show, it was such an incredible night. Highly recommend!!! If you haven't got tickets already then i suggest you should as this is a show you really don't want to miss!!
NO WORDS! I WAS LEFT SPEECHLESS WITH SUCH AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE YOU MUST SEE !!!!!
I'm not a huge emo rock fan, however my wife certainly is. Taylor Acorn was a great opener to warm up the crowd. Boys Like Girls came out and set the place on fire. From that point on I don't think she stopped smiling for even a second. Finally Chris Carrabba led Dashboard Confessional onto the stage where they did what the crowd clearly wanted.....played all the old hits. This was all after attending the VIP preshow. To spend 6 hours standing in GA and walk away with nothing but a happy and exhausted wife says everything about what an incredible show it was. 6 Stars.
What an incredible experience! I tried to see Dashboard a few years ago in Saint Louis but they ended up canceling that tour. I’m so glad I finally got the chance to see them in person. Definitely worth it!
Hands down this was one of the best shows I have ever been to. Amazing venue, amazing seats, we had a great view. I had an unforgetable night singing along with Dashboard to all of the best ones of the best ones.
Boys love girls and dashboard brough such great energy to such a small and intimate venue
