Stone Temple Pilots on Tour
With over 70 million albums sold, Stone Temple Pilots roared on to the scene in 1992 with their raucous debut, Core. A breakout success, the album peaked #3 on the Billboard 200 chart, and dominated radio waves with hits like "Sex Type Thing," "Wicked Garden," and the Grammy-Award winning smash single, "Plush." STP quickly distinguished themselves as a band beholden to no trend. Boasting the inimitable riffs of guitarist Dean DeLeo, the propulsive rhythm section of bassist Robert DeLeo and drummer Eric Kretz, and the charismatic baritone of frontman Scott Weiland, STP ruled airways, video playlists and charts alike over their legendary career. The band released their seventh studio album, Stone Temple Pilots (2018), their first with new lead singer, Jeff Gutt. The debut single "Meadow" from the self-titled album, channels the gritty guitars and swaggering rhythms that STP is known for, and reached top 5 at rock radio. All Music Guide states, "They haven't lost their knack for hook-heavy hard rock that wedges its way into the subconscious."

Way better than I expected. Did a fantastic job with the instruments ,Vocals, and Back Drop production defently would see them again. Took my 21 year old son that is a musician and he was blown away and was inspired with his own band!!!!
We couldn’t hear the singer when STP got on the stage at all. Something about the sound was wrong. The bluestones were awesome and we could hear the vocals without issues. The concert was fun and loved the costumes.
Got there early, got a good seat, didn't spend any money due to cashless policy. Don't plan to spend any more money in the venue except if cash is accepted.
STP is still one of my favorite bands of all time! I've been listening to them for 30 years. The band may not be complete but they still ROCKED!!

Band sounded as good as ever. What I was unsure of going into the concert was how was the singer going to compare to Scott Weiland. I was very impressed with Jeff Gutt. The guy has some pipes and did a great job.
Live....played too long...no encore needed. STP....could've had a few more songs.
The STP show was great! The opener, Soul Asylum started right on time. They were awesome. Live put on a great show and played for a good amount of time. They sounded great and were very entertaining. Stone Temple Pilots sounded fantastic. I wondered how it was going to be with their new lead singer and it was solid. He brings energy and his talent into the band and fits perfectly. I loved the vibe. They sounded amazing and were truly a great performance. All 3 bands were awesome! Great show!!!
Stone Temple Pilots returned to Indianapolis for the first time in over 20 years, and played the full set of their 2nd album Purple plus 4 songs from Core. Jeff Gutt is a perfect replacement for Scott Weiland and was able to bring the full range of emotion to every song he sang. The Deleo Brothers and Eric Kretz are master musicians right up there with Led Zeppelin and are still performing at a top level. It's great to see STP returning to the top tier of rock n roll bands and still killing it, their masterpiece songs still bring the house down and the crowd loves to hear the big hits along with deep cuts.
