+LIVE+ in Concert
The original line-up of LIVE-Ed Kowalczyk (vocals, guitar), Chad Taylor (guitar, backing vocals), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass) and Chad Gracey (drums, percussion) reunited for a worldwide tour including North America in 2017.?They are known as one of the most potent alternative rock acts and concert attractions-with their powerful musical dynamics, vocal fervor and questing lyrics.
The year 2017 marked the 25th anniversary of their debut album Mental Jewelry (released December 31, 1991). The multi-platinum band from Pennsylvania have sold over 22 million albums worldwide and earned two number one albums (Throwing Copper, Secret Samadhi). Their catalog is filled with such gems as “Lightning Crashes,” “I Alone,” “All Over You,” and “Lakini’s Juice,” which live on today as classics on rock radio.
The original line-up of LIVE performed their last show in July 2009 before going off in different directions. Rediscovering their friendship has healed old differences, setting the stage for the four members to come together to make music again.
+LIVE+ and BUSH have joined forces for The ALT-IMATE Tour, a high-powered co-headline 2019 summer run with these two iconic acts celebrating the 25th anniversary of their respective landmark albums Throwing Copper and Sixteen Stone. This hits-packed road show will hit arenas and outdoor amphitheaters in 33 cities across the country, kicking off June 6th in Mashantucket, CT with stops in Boston, Los Angeles, Atlanta and more before wrapping September 8th in Rochester, MI at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre.

The song set list was amazing. Fantastic enthusiasm!
The venue was excellent. Fast and easy enterance and Fast and easy exit. The floor of the venue hadnt been sprayed down or cleaned and all the sugary drinks that spilled had bees all over the place. The perdormwrs were great as expected however the accoustics were off. You could hear more of the band and less of the vocals. So you knew the songs my the music only and only the words when there was a lower lull in the music. Over it was a great time and would do it again if given the chance.
We had a most excellent evening with awesome Sept weather on Milwaukee's Lake Michigan lakefront with PIT tickets being the BEST up in front of the stage! Gotta give Soul Asylum credit for being the die-hard dependable openers they are. Stone Temple Pilots were absolutely stunning & SHINING with electric energy WOW they were so great! And LIVE, well LIVE is always a show stopper from beginning to the very end! We LOVED every moment of it!
Wasn't sure how Soul Asylum was going to be to start..very good. STP was next and it's been 27 years since I saw the original. With Scott Weiland. The new guy was great. They didn't disappoint. Wish they were the headliner. Didn't know much about Live. Not a fan. To genetic
Show was awesome, it wasn't sold out so our seats were upgraded. That was a plus!! Had a great time, perfect weather, love outdoor venues!! CG
Soul Asylum was great even though they had sound difficulties. Wish they would have played longer. STP was great and should have headlined the show. Live was very good as well, but I honestly thought STP would have been a better headliner.
Stone Temple Pilots should’ve been the headliner for this tour. LIVE was terrible.
I've seen LIVE more times than I can count along with Ed solo a couple times. He definitely seemed "off"this time, definitely less energy and going through the motions. Not sure if that was just the night we saw him or what. Music and Ed sounded good but not great, I feel like there was a lack of chemistry with the band. Overall fun time (and pleasantly surprised by the new singer for STP).
Wow what a show! Weather was perfect lineup was spot on and the sound and visuals were amazing!
We really had a great time. Clean restroom and the lines moved good. The bands were great, just love STP and Live. Soul Asylum was really good too. My only problem was that the bass was very muddy in the mix. Guitar, drums and keys were fine. Just missing a clear bass.
