After reading the book and seeing the movie, I wasn't sure how they could adapt Bridges of Madison County into a stage play, but they did so quite well. Singing was amazing, cast worked well together and scenes were believable. It's a great show. The only negative is that it is a long play with about 1 hour and 15 minutes each act. They could have cut out some of the scenes with Francesca's kids and the neighbors and made it 30 minutes shorter. Also, the older Francesca needed to have gray hair or appropriate make up as the same actress played her but did not look older at all. Robert Kincaid as an older guy was played by the same actor but they made him look older. We were sitting in the second row so it was obvious to us and perhaps this won't be to other patrons seated farther away. Overall, worth the money and a great date night.
