San Diego Ballet Tickets

The ballet was lovely and well-executed. While a beautiful venue, the Balboa Theatre is not ideal for viewing dance. I, along with many that I observed, spent the entire time leaning from side to side to see the dancers around the people sitting in front of them. A big part of enjoying dance is the ability to see the footwork of the dancers. I will not hesitate to buy tickets for San Diego Ballet performances in the future but not in this venue - the architecture of the theater prevented me from viewing the lower half of the performers.

It was my first time seeing a San Diego production. The drive was unexpected but it was totally worth it. The theater itself was amazing. The architecture was marvelous. Has so much history. In other words, the production itself was exciting as well as the dance numbers. The leads had so much chemistry to see the storyline involve between their two characters. Not knowing what would’ve happened next? As I read the story for the second act I thought that the llorona was gonna come out terrifying but I was wrong. It was empowering to see how she empowered so many woman to be part of her clan. And no one came out alive in taking men and using their ability to take on revenge. That in her scenario all men were traitors no matter the cause. But I enjoyed myself and couldn’t believe that San Diego has a great atmosphere. I would come out and see more of your productions. As you may not know that theater is my long time journey. It’s full of entertainment and laughter but most of all sentimental. Being surrounded by other kinds of people makes me come out of my comfort zone. But most of all San Diego is full of entertainment that it speaks for itself.

The San Diego Ballet always performed wonderfully and gives us a magical experience full of joy and excitement, all the dancers are phenomenal and make me feel like I’m being transported to another world… just excellent!

I've never been to SD Ballet, and it was a pleasant surprise to see it. Two acts passed swiftly, the performance hoods your attention thanks to a good ballet production by the director and a wonderful ballet troupe.

Lovely performance, liked that a Southern California style was incorporated into the theme of the ballet. The principal dancer Stephanie was amazing, so much grace in her dancing. Would definitely recommend!

Although the dancing was beautiful, when buying the tickets, I was unaware this was not the original storyline or costumes. This performance was a mexican storyline and costumes. Honestly that was disappointing. The dresses covered the performers legs so you didn’t get to see all leg techniques.

Amazing choreography and wonderful performances! San Diego Ballet gives a more unique show than other ballet companies!

The ballet company dancing to boogie woogie and swing was absolutely wonderful! The music and dancers were electrifying. Loved it!

Sue Palmer and her Motel Swing Band are fantastic and what a wonderful performance by San Diego Ballet !! I loved the combination of music and dance !!
