Sac republic needs a stadium now !! The team has made a huge change lately for good ! We’ve played few championships in the last 2 years ! Also going to MLS will be great
The excitement that this team brings, is over the top!! Fans are so grateful and very happy with the venue every time!
We've been in almost every section of the stadium, it's always fun and exciting and you can really see all the action. It's a no brainer to go. especially since our team is one of the best in the country!!! Oh yeah!
Sac Republic soccer is always great! But somebody messed up when it came to Youth Soccer Day. There were a lot of kids in attendance and they all wanted to eat something. Unfortunately, it took at least 30 minutes (1/3 of a socer match) to get any food. There were not enough vendors and the vendors didn't have enough staff. One member of our party was still waiting for his order after the match ended. Somebody should have seen this coming! Your website acknowledged that "the match regularly draws some of the club’s best crowds of the season."The next time you have a sold-out event, targeted to kids, on a Sunday afternoon, plan ahead!
The game was at Hughes Stadium which is not where they normally play; I got seats in row 5 which is technically row 2. First 5-10 rows we couldn’t see a thing. People walked by us the entire game instead of using the tunnels for what they’re designed for. You’d think people would take their seats when the game started but it was like high school football - people cared more about beer and food and being social than the actual game. The speakers were SO loud I had to cover my ears. If you get overstimulated easily I suggest you stay away from that side of field altogether. It was a terrible experience, waste of $50, left at halftime. Shouldn’t even be selling those seats for over $10.
While I thoroughly enjoyed the nostalgia, the huge crowd, and meeting up with some folks I haven’t seen in awhile, the stadium experience isn’t great. Not that it was unexpected, as the stadium is older, but I had forgotten how narrow the pitch is, how far away the seats are from the action, and how few aisles there are between the endless rows of benches that made it difficult to do simple things like go use the restroom or grab food/drinks. Overall we had a great time but like I said, reminder of how antiquated the venue is…
Loved the energy of the crowd - over 20,000, strong - Disappointed in the match result, but the next one is a W. MLS heads need to wise up and get us a franchise in the Capitol City with the best fans in the country. GO SAC REPUBLIC.
The Sacranento Republic and the USL soccer league is very good. The SRFC are a winning team and are constantly at the top of the table. The atmosphere 11,500 seat stadium has good energy supported by a beer garden and food trucks.
Great seats to view the whole field. Very chill environment and good time.
