Ryan Montbleau is a pure soul singer. Not in the traditional sense. His voice — although a sweet, passionate instrument — isn't packed with Memphis clay like Al Green's or greased with urban sophistication like R. Kelly's. Instead, Montbleau sings purely from his soul in a voice every bit as honest, open hearted and original as the stories he tells in his songs.

Ryan Montbleau was amazing! This is the second time we have seen him and hope to again. I would give him 5 stars alone! HOWEVER...had we known the show would actually be in the lobby of the Kirby Center with no seating and a few high-top tables to stand at, we would not have taken a day off (my husband does not get paid when he is not working), driven 2 hours each way and paid for an Airbnb to spend the night.
It’s been awhile since we saw Ryan. Always love the full band. Great music. Whole crowd dancing. Kirby center was nice venue. Lobby better than seats, gave everyone a chance to dance
RMB has a voice like no other. Just see him perform and you’ll appreciate all that he shares with his audience.
Amazing, as always! Ryan is a soulful, brilliant song writer and performer. He’s a stellar guitar player with a voice pouring right from his heart. Love seeing him year after year after year ??
A well run event for a fun, earnest, and talented musician! Ryan is a gifted story teller and performer. If you get the chance to see him, DO IT. You won’t be sorry. He is a delight whether he’s playing solo or with the band!!
I have been a fan or Ryan Montbleau for years. And recruited 3 other friends to his music too. But this set was much more country-like than I had heard before and I wasn't really a fan. But I REALLY liked one of his opening acts, Will Evans and will be following him from now on as well!
Ryan bring great energy and fun to his shows. Whether solo or with the the band brings a great performance.
Ryan Montbleau really knows how to rock it out. He put on a long show and was high energy throughout. Each band member was great. I don't think the back up singers added anything to the performance.
I have seen Ryan both with his band, and performing solo. He always puts on a fabulous show. Ryan writes his own music and lyrics that are able to touch audiences of all ages, ranging from babies to over "75 and sunny"! It's always a great time and there is always a lot of positive energy at his performances.
