Great show. 1st set was exploratory space rock. 2nd set was played in space suits for trip to planet silver!
The show was outstanding! Above all expectations!!! The people that attend and the band make you feel welcome and loved! The clothing everyone wears including the band all come together making it a great experience. The lighting was unbelievable and point on to the music!
Neighbor rarely disappoints in Maine, and their latest appearance exceeded expectations. Solid jams led by Lyle Brewers blazing guitar work, carried the audience through two 30 minute versions of Pinetree, and their rock opera prelude, Into the Sun. An addition of a horn line and female backup singers, dubbed the “neighbor nine” closed out the set with an ethereal version of Bowie’s “Space Oddity”, setting the stage for set 2. The nine took the audience on an intergalactic journey, by performing their rock opera, “Planet Silver on its entirety.
The happiest people on the planet were here celebrating with this band on the most fantastic journey!
Great show at the beautiful Wilbur Theater. Don’t sleep on this band, they kick ass.
The band was absolutely phenomenal!! Great vibe in the venue, everyone there was having a great time. Sound was great, and light show was awesome as well!
From the first notes to the final, the energy in the room was absolutely electric for this hometown show to close out Neighbor's first ever tour. Performing fan favorite Planet Silver, the crowd broke into such boisterous applause that the band had to pause before singing the final chorus. It was a stellar evening of music and dance. The crowd was super "neighborly," a very kind bunch and all seemed to leave with permagrin on their musically melted faces. It was a rippa of a show! Cant wait to do it again.
Wow - I knew these guys were good having seen them a couple of times. But this was one of THE BEST concerts I’ve ever been to. Neighbor is a band that is firing on all cylinders at this point in time. Each musician is an absolute monster at their respective instrument. Put them all together and great things are bound to happen. From the first note of “Two Tickets to Paradise” by Eddie Money, you knew it was going to be a special night. And they did not disappoint. If you haven’t seen this band yet, do yourself a favor and get on the bus. They are going to be playing much bigger venues in the very short term. So see them in a small club while you still can! I cannot say enough good things about these guys.
Neighbor never disappoints, played their hit with great jams. The Dux beat the heck out of the skins, Lyle's leads were stellar, the interaction with the crowd was too kool.
These guys are quickly establishing their dominance in the Boston music scene, while gaining interest nationally. Executing a wide musical variety of original songs, the band doesn’t shy from pushing boundaries of genres and jams. A must see for those who can be lucky enough to have them roll through town.
