A singer-songwriter, vocalist, producer and era-defining lyricist, who gained widespread recognition in 2018 with the critically acclaimed debut album, "Boy in Jeans." An album heralded for its exploration in sexuality and isolation, but also in prose and sound. Continuing on his sonic journey of self-reflection and emotional honesty, Ryan pursued in his ambition to push sound with vocal dominance, releasing his highly anticipated follow-up album "Dreaming of David" in 2020. 2023 brought the third installment of Ryan's artistic proclamation, "Calico," with single 'Ribbons' epitomizing another evolution in musical sculpture and lyrical intensity. A subtle, yet powerful examination of the human psyche.

Ryan is a once in lifetime songwriter and a vocalist with genuine intentions. His timidity is charming, because he is open to receiving from the audience. He has the kind of quiet presence that speaks very loudly. His band envelopes Beatty’s voice almost magically. They practically have their own thing going and it’s beautiful to watch them dialoguing with the music during the performances. The synergy between all members is very clear. It allows for Ryan’s talent to glow, even when he is off stage. His pianist is very charismatic. I thought that playing All By Myself was a clever touch to the set list. It added some humour and light heartedness. So thank you, for the whole night. I waited in line to be close enough to see his eyes whilst performing. He rarely opens them, but when he does and takes the time to look into the audience, so much tenderness is felt. Montréal and the Corona (now Beanfield) Theatre remember you.
ryan is one of the best shows I’ve been to in my life. if you ever have the opportunity to see him perform live, I recommend it 100000x over and over again. he is so incredibly talented and his band for the calico tours are incredibly talented as well.
Truly, have never written a review in my life, but my god this was the most special performance I've ever experienced. Ryan has the most beautiful voice and the loveliest presence. The concert was so intimate and special, and will stick with me forever.
Loved the show. 3rd time seeing him perform. The venue was great, the way they did the bar tab on your phone was very convenient. Completely GA but didn't seem that there was a bad spot in the house! My only small complaint is the price of merch... thought I found myself at a Frank show instead!
Was absolutely phenomenal, Ryan is so magical on stage and everything worth spent to get there was worth it. The crew and audience made a very safe and comfortable space.
Such a gorgeous, emotional, and intimate performance. Ryan Beatty is an incredible vocalist, and his band is so talented as well. The staff was very friendly and efficient, the merch table was well organized and manned and the merchandise is a very good quality. If you get a chance to see Ryan Beatty, do it! And it’s always a plus if it’s at white oak, one of my favorite venues.
Ryan gave a beautiful live performance with the band. Such an amazing experience!
I LOVED seeing Ryan Beatty live, he was perfect. His vocals sound even better in person. It could’ve been a bit better if the venue had been raked so the people in the back could see a bit better. I was like 10 feet from the stage but could barely see since all the tall dudes flocked to the front. Ryan also sat down for a decent amount of the set which made it a bit trickier to see. I wore my platform shoes to boost myself up but even on my tip toes, I couldn’t see past the towering dudes in the front row. I also wish that the time of the concert would have been announced. Knowing when doors open is great but knowing when the artists starts their set would be better. Last note, I wish security would’ve been a bit more on top of things. There was a super drunk dude who kept shouting at Ryan inappropriately and it was obvious the artist was uncomfortable as was much of the audience. Some girls in the crowd ended up talking to him but I think security should’ve handled it.
Absolutely incredible show. No large performance aspect, but the vocals did all the talking. The set was very homey and Ryan/fans was super welcoming. Would highly recommend.
