Russ in Concert?
A singular rap force in the mold of Eminem, Russ leaves an indelible mark every time he steps on stage. The jack of all trades does it all: writing, producing, engineering, and mixing all of his own music. So when the spotlight is on, Russ' output is a definitive reflection of his scope as an artist. It takes a commanding presence to captivate arena audiences all by yourself, and Russ does it over bombastic bangers like the aptly titled "Do It Myself," and sensual, slowed-down crooners like "Losin' Control." He's taken his live set to Coachella and now to the North American I See You tour, all the while reflecting on how the world spins around him and his fast-track rise to hip-hop stardom.?
Russ Background
Born in New Jersey, but growing up in Atlanta, 25-year-old Russ Vitale (Russ) started writing raps in a notebook at the tender age of seven. He found his teenage calling as a producer and stuck to it—until finally laying down his first bars on the mic when he was 18. Once he did, he couldn't stop. A tireless creator, Russ put out 11 albums in a three-year period from 2011 to 2014 and put them all up on SoundCloud for prompt mass consumption. While releasing everything through his Diemon Crew collective/label at the onset, he signed with Columbia Records in 2017 and quickly put out his major-label debut, ‘There's Really a Wolf.' Peaking at #7 on the Billboard 200 and #3 on both the U.S. rap and R&B charts, the debut soon went platinum. Staying true to form, his sophomore effort, ‘Zoo,' came out in 2018, peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200, and even featured Snoop Dogg & Rick Ross on the track "Last Forever." Russ has established himself as an outspoken personality on Twitter and palpable force in hip-hop.?
Amazing in every which way. Every cast member was very memorable
Amazing show! Although some people pushed to the front when others were waiting in the line outside for much longer! Overall though Russ himself is such a great performer and person! I really hope he comes to the Midwest more often!
Something about Russ and a stadium filled with people scream-singing his songs will always be so healing to my soul! Ready for another tour back in the US
I've listened to Russ for 7 years and never seen him so this was a very emotional experience. Very happy to have the early entry and be abke to get close because GA can be a disaster with people pushing and tall people in the front. I also really appreciated the things he had to offer in the early entry time as well. Pretty good venue.
Russ is an amazing performer and sounded just as good in person as he does on his track. He brought out 6lack who also has a great stage presence. The concert started on time which was a huge plus and he performed all the hits. I did VIP floor access but didn’t realize there were no seats. That sucked and I hate when artist don’t have seats on the floor so that’s my one criticism. Why pay more and then have to stand the entire time?!? But besides that totally worth seeing him live
worth the ticket and drive but we bought the signature drink and paid 90$ for 2 don’t fall for it!
I loved this concert. I had been waiting for months! 10/10 Russ is one of the best artist in the industry right now.
Loved the show especially the live string orchestra. Russ outdid himself yet again. Only downside was I broke my foot walking (falling) down some stairs at the beginning of the show and couldn’t buy merch. Other than that a solid time.
The best concert! So fun and carries himself soo well????
Russ truly is better in person than recorded. His performance was truly moving and the energy he expelled was contagious. I had never been to a Russ concert before but I will definitely take the next chance I can. He was amazing and I truly can't recommend him enough.
