RL GRIME IN CONCERT:
In just a few short years, LA-based trap producer RL Grime has gone from bedroom hobbyist to breakout sensation with his massive, floor-shattering remixes of artists like Kanye West and Benny Benassi. Indeed, the young producer is a master of both the buildup and the drop, slaying eardrums around the country with his bass-heavy original productions and epic live sets. Fans of hip-hop, trap, and even acid house have a new hero in RL Grimes, and they'll get the chance to have their minds blown in the flesh as he hits the road for his latest tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Harry Steinway, a.k.a. RL Grime, was born in Los Angeles in 1991. After studying music business at universities in Boston and New York, he returned to LA and joined the WeDidIt collective with fellow producers Shlomo, Groundislava, and D33J. In 2012 he released the Grapes EP on the WeDidIt label, garnering attention later in the year for his acclaimed remix of Kanye West's "Mercy," which The Fader described "as if hail and tsunami waves were both byproducts of bass." His 2013 EP High Beams, a collaboration with producer Slava and California rapper Problem, debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Electronic Chart, further boosting his popularity with fans around the world. On his latest tour, RL Grime will treat fans to more epic buildups, breakdowns, and never-before-heard cuts from his ever-growing catalog.

More trap please. The entire show delivered exactly what I wanted.
first time at this venue. parking was super easy to get in and out of. venue was great. temperature in the ga floor section was always comfortable and cool. lots of room to dance/ga floor was not oversold and we were all the way up front. one star off for not allowing us to keep the water bottle caps (smart water bottles). spilled a lot of my water all over ga floor area
RL Grime has frequently taken the headlining spot at big events and festivals. Coming to Austin and playing at the much smaller venue, Stubb's, was such a treat. Everyone was amazing vibes and just danced wildly all night long. Plenty of space to move and be free. Lasers and effects were solid and sound was great throughout. Would relive that night over and over if I could!
Was alright. Expected more from RL Grime and Venue. Especially on a birthday trip.
Actual artists that appeared and their music was 10/10 Sound quality 10/10 Security - surprisingly helpful and straightforward, gave clear directions to where everything is in the venue, let me visit my friend in a different seated area early in the show Bars - way overcrowded, some of them were way faster than others, might just be the night in question Getting in the venue - very easy Coat check - didn't use it personally but friends checking in was easy but the line at the end of the night was brutal Getting out of the venue - really really a pain, only one entrance with everyone leaving all at once
RL Grime is incredible and his music is fireeeeee! What a great show, great vibes, couldn’t stop dancing! Thank you RL Grime ??
10/10 grime. 10/10 bass. Henry Alfred Steinway for president.
Great show!! Had an awesome dancing the night away to some absolute bangers by RL Grime
I expected a lot from this artist as I’ve heard great things about his sets however the set was short. It barely went on for 2 hours. In addition, the music was subpar. Crowd energy was low. I like more dubstep,DNB , and riddim. I guess I’ll just stick to that.
