Drove out from PHX and showed up just before midnight, the show was scheduled to start at 9...Redman didn't come on until 2AM and never did more than one verse from any of his songs and actually did parts of verses from other artists' songs from the 90's. Would have been a good performance had he came on and did a good set of his songs...but I guess that's what you get at a concert on 4/20.
Redman was a NO Show up until 1 AM or so, when I had to leave on account of all the WACK replacement acts that weren't even good enough to be called amateur.
The. BEST. Hip Hop show I have ever been too!! The crowd showd love and EPMD, RED MAN, DAS EFX, KEITH MURRAY & K-SOLO were at their BEST!!! Hip Hop LIVES!!!
Excellent! 5 out of 5 Mics! If you grew up in the hood in the early 90's, This was your reunion show!
Redman, Das Effects, Keith Murray, EPMD and KSolo all did their thing. Loved the surprise appearance of Method Man.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the HIT SQUAD REUNION! it was so great to see them all still holding their weight. Red man and Keith Murray are still on 10 for the energy level! Eric and Parrish seem like they have been in the studio recently cause they were on POINT! KSolo must be drinking from the fountain of youth! he hasn't aged a bit! Das EFX brought out the kid in me with their lyrics!! I miss all of these guys. It was really nice to see the Knuckle Heads step out for the night and Method Man stopping by was a major PLUS! I'd go see them again without a pause. I ran into Eric Sermon in the parking garage and he was so cool! took pics and cracked a couple of jokes with him.
EPMD....INCREDIBLE!!!!....DAS EFX....PHENOMENAL....K-SOLO...CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!....KEITH MURRAY....FIRE!!!!!!!!!...REDMAN...BUTTER....THEN WE GOT A NICE SURPRISE.................THE M.E.T.H.O.D MAN WAS IN DA HOUSE...I'D RATE IT 1000 STARS...IF YOU GET A CHANCE TO SEE THEM I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU GO...ONLY IF YOU LOVE HIP-HOP THIS IS FOR YOU...
Not as good as their original Hit Squad tour....but that was to be expected. They're older and not as agile as they used to be. :) Overall, it was a great show. Redman brings the energy. EPMD brings the classics. Das Efx brings the originality. They're simply the most underrated squads in all of hip hop...
Couldn't of asked for a better time. OFF THE HOOK I LOVED IT!!!!!
