Venue
Formed in 2008, Norah Jones, Sasha Dobson, and Catherine Popper formed Puss n Boots. Initially designed as a way for Jones and Dobson to play guitar, Popper joined the duo not much later and, for years, the trio played various New York clubs, while working out a repertoire anchored in Americana -- country, folk and jazz-- In 2013, some five years after the group began playing, they signed with Blue Note and set out on assembling their debut record. Comprised of originals and covers, studio recordings and live performances, that debut was called No Fools, No Fun; released in the summer of 2014, it was supported by a tour of the U.S.

Norah Jones is stellar as a solo artist. When paired up with the wonderful voices of Sasha Dobson and Catherine Popper the synergy is enormous! The song writing is great, and the harmonies so perfect it is like they have been singing together since birth. They do some covers that are better than the originals. This is a show you don't want to miss.
well the opening act was just terrible -- put a damper on the whole evening since we had to put up with him for over 30 minutes Puss N Boots were just ok -- great to see Norah Jones but if we didn't know who she was would just give the group an ok but not great rating
The opening act was hilarious. Norah Jones was flawless as always and the other girls came together to make a fantastic trio of humor.
The three women, Puss'n Boots, put on an excelleny performance. They are excellent musicians, their singing and harmonies were right on, they were very entertaining.
Wonderful vocals. Competent musicianship. Fabulous version of "Down by the River". Do more of that and Johnny Cash and The Band. Other material not my favorite genre but well-liked by the audience in general.
The opening act - Van Hayride - set the stage. And, Puss N Boots delivered a stand out performance. The crowd was behind them and they delivered to their audience - a fun time with great music.
great intimate venue in an unplugged environment. Jones, Dobson and Popper were great and I would go back to the Sinclair again.
Puss n Boots is the best show I've ever attended. The girls were so laid back and carefree. They did such a great job connecting with the crowd (about 400) in a club. I love their sound, particularly Norah's guitar tone - slight trem, short sustain, really clanky, and very vintage. They are on the move and this was their last club gig. I was really lucky and leaned on the stage the whole night, right in front of Jones. If you have the chance, go and see them before they start playing huge venues.
I love Norah Jones, seen her in concert 4 times and this was the best show I've seen. Intimate and raw a real unplugged feel. I would love to see more of this from other artists. Unforgettable, loved it, they had great harmonies and Norah nailed down by the river, one of my favorite Neil Young songs, and I love the fact that they are all influenced by the Band. Would recommend this show to anybody I'm gonna try to see them again.
