PLAIN WHITE T'S IN CONCERT:
Pop-punk outfit Plain White T's is anything but plain live -- the band has been packing a punch with their driving guitar sound, upbeat melodies, and sprightly showmanship since 1997. Whether they're stripping it down with their acoustic smash-hit "Hey There Delilah" or getting fans to sing along to "1,2,3,4", Plain White T's sound just as sharp live as they do on their recordings. A veteran touring act with showmanship to the gills, the five-piece gives concertgoers an unforgettable experience every time they hit the road for one of their exciting tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Chicago-based pop punkers Plain White T's first formed in 1997, getting their start playing local bar and restaurant gigs. When frontman Tom Higgenson was involved in a near-fatal car accident two years later, he penned a collection of reflective songs while recovering that ultimately led the band to pursue music full-time. They released three albums in the early '00s, but didn't achieve mainstream success until 2006 with Every Second Counts, which was certified gold in the US and featured the No. 1 hit "Hey There Delilah". The band immediately launched to international fame after the release, set out on a tour with Motion City Soundtrack, and played their own sold-out headlining shows. The pop-punk act continued to release more popular tunes like "1,2,3,4" and "Rhythm of Love", both of which were played in heavy rotation on alternative radio across the country. With several platinum-selling records, two Grammy nominations, and a hit-filled catalog under their belt, Plain White T's are show-stopping performers who treat fans to all of their popular tunes on perennial can't-miss tours.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"NO WORDS can explain how AMAZING this night was! Plain White T's put on a FUN and energetic show, get the crowd involved, and keep you dancing until the end! This show will be a LIFETIME MEMORY!"
"The Plain White T's never disappoint. In addition to being a great band, they are great entertainers."
This was a great concert. Their new music was fantastic and their opening bands, Catch This and Pollyanna, were awesome.
Would have been an amazing place for a first date. I took my long term girlfriend. The show gave us the magic of our first date again. It was amazing. Someone cried, I'm not saying who but it was great.
Plain White T’s is amazing the writing style and the band play all the Great hits and new songs! Thank you you’re awesome
This concert was awesome! I originally thought that I would only know one or two songs, and those were sorta ballads. This show, however, was totally rocking! Much more energetic, dancing, etc. One of the best concerts that we've been to!
Their openers were great and i absolutely enjoyed seeing them, WAS ALSO THE START OF THE TOUR!!!
They put on a fun show, but I feel like they never really met their full potentials outside of Delilah and handful of other tracks. Not to say their irrelevant, as their a month away from releasing a new album!
It was cool to see them live. Pure nostalgia when they played “Hey There Delilah.”
I LOVE THE PLAIN WHITE T's!! They seemed to be awesome, however we were unable to understand anything they said or sang because their balance was so off and it was WAY TOO LOUD for the venue. I was so disappointed with the sound quality. SUPER SAD because there music is great! They put on a great show! it would have been perfect if my ears weren't bleeding! Still a huge fan - I will just see them at an outdoor venue!
Love, Love, Loved this show! The band was great and their energy mobilized the audience, they played the hits and some new songs that should prove to also be hits. I would definitely come see them again. Only negative thing I have to say is the opening band (Brother from UT) wasn't great and didn't fit with the music style of Plain White T's, please don't bring them back to the Avalon.
GREAT VENUE, GREAT BAND, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN!
