THE AIRBORNE TOXIC EVENT IN CONCERT:
Back in 2008, the Airborne Toxic Event infiltrated the airwaves with their driving rock number "Sometime Around Midnight," generating significant buzz and receiving the seal of approval from none other than U2. Today, the Airborne Toxic Event leave fans awestruck with lush viola melodies and catchy guitar riffs during their fierce live shows. The band's performances wouldn't be complete without signature hits like "Changing" as they treat audiences to a fan-oriented show on their exciting string of 2014 tour dates.?
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Los Angeles native Mikel Jollett began penning songs after a series of unfortunate life events occurred in 2006, coincidentally meeting drummer Daren Taylor around the same time and thus forming the Airborne Toxic Event. Through mutual friends and chance encounters, keyboardist Steven Chen, upright bassist Noah Harmon, and viola player Anna Bulbrook were added to the lineup, resulting in the band's signature orchestral rock sound. Their 2008 debut album was met with favorable reviews and spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart, followed by extensive touring and regular late-night talk show appearances. 2011's All At Once peaked at No. 5 on the US Rock charts and 2013's Such Hot Blood followed soon after, both receiving acclaim among popular music blogs and magazines. The Airborne Toxic Event packs a serious punch live and are sure to have audiences rocking out at their festival dates in 2014.?

Great band love them cant believe there not selling out bigger venuse
Hands down - best night of my life. Standing front row to watch my absolute favorite band. I wouldn’t change a thing. They could sing me anything. Thank you for the core memory!
I have loved this band for years. I live in Portland, Oregon and was sad that I missed the concert when they came previously, on my birthday no less! :( So when this tour was announced I jumped on the chance to go. Traveling from Oregon to Boston, Mass I met a friend and we had a wonderful time. I bought a signed poster! It has been framed and is currently displayed for all to see. The opening act could have been better, but the energy of The Airborne Toxic Event was spectacular! All my favorite songs were played. The venue was a perfect complement and allowed the band to shine without the need for giant screens or overly used pyrotechnics. Simple as that, excellent band, wonderful songs, amazing showmanship. Thank you to Mikel Jollett, Mimi Peschet (rocking that violin), Noah Harmon, Steven Chen, and Daren Taylor for being the catalyst for my trip to Boston and the amazing time and memories.
We could hv had a nice dinner if we knew we had more time.
This was my third time seeing them and definitely the best of the three shows. They worked in some new songs but played all the older ones. They were very tight and gave a very energized performance. Great to see the band maturing as each album comes out with its own successful songs and the setlist needs to eliminate some favorites… a nice problem to have! While I miss Anna and she will always be part of the history of this band, Mimi is more than holding her own. This is band is the best kept secret and a great value for fans. They should be selling out large venues and charging $200 a ticket. The GA shows allow you to pay $20 and be ten feet away from the band. You cannot get a better deal than that! I can’t wait until the next album and tour.
Love the Filmore and really impressed with Airborne Toxic Event! Listen to them, see them.. you'll be impressed too!
I enjoyed this show immensely. It's a highly energetic performance and I went into the week before the show only knowing one song before listening to a lot of the song they played when I attended the show.
I get tickets anytime and everytime this band comes around! Nothing beats experiencing them in an intimate venue with other fans!
Every song they played that night had feedback in the mic screeching and ruining the whole event. Not sure if it's Warsaw's fault or their own sound person but they should have refunded all of our tickets.
