Growing out of the San Diego, California punk scene, Pierce the Veil was founded by brothers Mike and Vic Fuentes in 2007 after the demise of their previous band and furthered praise for their emo post-hardcore sound. After signing with Fearless Records in 2011, their third album Collide with the Sky was released in July 2012, peaking at No. 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200, as well as No. 1 on the U.S Alternative and Rock charts. They joined the Vans Warped Tour again in 2012, toured North America with A Day to Remember and All Time Low, and played for ticket buyers with Bring Me The Horizon in Europe and the U.K. in 2013. Following the break-up of the group Before Today, the brothers Fuentes continued writing songs and recorded a new full-length album in Seattle under their new moniker. This debut album A Flair for the Dramatic was released in June 2007 on Equal Vision Records. They recruited lead guitarist Tony Perry and bassist Jaime Preciado and played the Vans Warped Tour in 2008, as well as concerts with Breathe Carolina and Thursday. Their sophomore studio album Selfish Machines came out in June 2010 and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart.

Pierce the veil is my favorite band and trust me, they're even better live. This was my first concert and I'm so glad it was ptv. I've already been talking about seeing them again, it was THAT good.
This was my first time ever seeing Pierce the Veil! I’ve been a fan for over 8 years now and wow, they did not disappoint! The energy from all of them was insane! Vic and Jaime sounded awesome live! The running around, throwing guitars, and the drums amazing!! The energy from the drummer was insane! The intro to Bulls in the Bronx — AMAZING! I plan on seeing PTV again!
I’ve seen them twice now and each time I cried and screamed so loud I lost my voice. Their energy is insane and they sound so good live. PLEASE COME BACK TO ATL WE MISS YOU!!!! ??
Alright, I'm 56 years old and took my 22 year daughter to see Blink182. M? daughter has been a life long PTV fan. I gotta say, THE ENERGY from PTV and the quality of their playing and stage presentation was UNBELIEVABLE! I wanted more. I'm now going through their entire library to get more familiar. I've always said, how a band performs live DEFINES the band.FANTASTIC JOB GUYS! CONGRATS to you and your team in making that happen. Thank you for being there. You gained a old fan!
I loved watching them literally the best openers I’ve seen. So much fun and they had so much energy and their performance was overall just perfect.
