Awesome show! Great for family of all ages. Would go and see or again
My husband and I took our teenage daughter and friend and we all really enjoyed the performance! It is a classic tale with great songs and action. Cathy Rigby was incredible as Peter- dancing, flying, singing and playing the drums. It was fun to watch.
Loved the entire show!! Mostly loved seeing my girls smile ear to ear from the time the music started until Peter Pan flew out over the audience. Awesome performance from all characters! I had forgotten that version of Peter Pan. We are headed to Disney in a couple of weeks, so this was a perfect way to get us in the Disney spirit! Thanks so much for offering this at the Lexington Opera House, again, we loved it!!
Funny, entertaining, beautful voices and dance! Peter Pan was a real hit with many magical moments! A real treat for the whole family!
I really really enjoyed the show. It was amazing. All the cast members were truly great. I have seen other plays at the opera house and this is my new favorite.
Cathy Rigby is still amazing! Definitely a show worth seeing!
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this show. Cathy Rigby is fantastic. The entire cast was fantastic. Love the drums! I think the cast does too :-)
Cathy Rigby was AMAZING! The show was such high energy and a great show to watch!
Very Enjoyable! The choreography and sets were wonderful!
We watched the MAGIC happen at Lexington Opera House. Make no mistake, Cathy Rigby IS Peter Pan. If you're among those that never want to grow up, be sure to add seeing the ageless Rigby's Peter Pan performance to your bucket list. And if you lose it for just a moment when she makes her first on-stage appearance, or during the finale when Pan flies high above the audience sprinkling fair dust, that's OK. Hey...can't we all use a little fairy dust now-n-then?
Our entire family enjoyed the play! Both our 4 yr old boy and 6 yr old girl were totally enthralled through the performance. This was the first almost 2 hour production they were able to enjoy from curtian to curtian!
Excellent!!! Enjoyed Peter Pan so much! The best in entertainment!
I bought the tickets for grandaughter and her mother to go. Both enjoyed it very much. And granddaughter loved the pixie dust at the end. She caught some. She'll a big Tinkerbell fan.
I was impressed the overall production, quality of musical score & musicians, ---& Peter Pan was EXTRAORDINARY! My granddaughter "crowed" all the way to the car & "flew". She is still singing the songs. The expressions on her face were PRICELESS!
Enjoyable because I went with a four-year old that had great fun. Probably wouldn't had nearly as much fun without seeing my granddaughter immersed in the play.
It was very good . The only thing was that sometimes when the music was playing you couldn't here the actors.
Supurb!! I loved every riveting moment! Recommend to all!
Was Peter Pan magical? Yes. Was the production value excellent? Yes. Will I recommend Peter Pan to others? Probably not. Reason being: too much swearing. I counted on two hands the number of times the characters used language inappropriate for a performance marketed toward children. (And the use of God's name in vain by Captain Hook? Inexcusable.) On the way out of the theatre I overheard several parents scolding their children for repeating the curse words used by Tink and Captain Hook.
show was fine, some parts boring I did not like late people allow to be seatted in he middle of the show
I guess I was expecting something different. The visuals are very nice, but the play seemed long & very wordy. It would have been nice with some songs or something to break up the monotony of the often long, rambling dialogue. The fake British accents can at times be hard to understand and it was often hard to hear in the upper levels. The players animating the animals are very distracting. If you have to have them in the scene why not at least try a "Lion King" approach, or it would have been acceptable to have them costumed as the actual animal they pushed around. Children around me seemed more bored than amused. I don't know how this play received as many high marks as what I read before seeing it!
