Good play. Didn't know a girl always plays Peter Pan in the play's , which makes it a little weird cuz Wendy and Peter like each other..
This is an excellent production that I was blown away with. Great cast and set!
This was a fun show to watch. The story is of a boy named Peter Pan in search of a mother who finds Wendy, John, and Michael, and takes them to Neverland. There they encounter the Lost Boys, Tiger Lily and the Indians, and Captain Hook and his fellow pirates. The sets in this show are amazingly detailed and really convince you that you are actually in the location that they take place. Curiously, the staging is unique in the show as the show only has 5 different sets and instead of rotating like in other shows, entire scenes happen in one set and when they finish, they move on to the next one. In terms of the costumes, they made a really good job of differentiating the style of the Lost Boys, the Indians, and the Pirates. While there wasn't much choreography in this show, the little that there was, was done incredibly well. Finally, the music and singing in this show was very well done. This Peter Pan definitely captured the immaturity and longing of a child in the show's more emotional scenes. I would like to stress that this show is NOT from Disney, so it won't be a staged version of the Disney film. Overall, I enjoyed this show because the story was incredibly simplistic, funny, engaging, and just made you glad you watched it.
The show was fun for an outing with friends. I treated my 11 year old for her birthday. Her friend and Mom came along. We all enjoyed it. The food, except the chocolate cake, was good enough...nice variety on the buffet. The staff was very nice, especially our server!!! The actors were talented and engaging. I really enjoyed my first theater in the round experience!
A very lack luster show. Great for kids, slow for the adults. We didn't even stay for the second half, left early. I read the reviews first before we purchased the tickets. They were spot on . Don't waste your money. Go see a movie, more entertaining and BETTER value.
I thought the play was very well done, I was surprised at how talented the cast was! Granddaughter and Grandparents both enjoyed it.
I didn't realize it was a kids' production - it was fine for taking my kids to but I wish I would have known ahead of time that it wasn't adult quality. I think the price was ok but a bit high for a play with all kids in it. The lead character, Peter Pan, really lacked strong singing skills.
Performances at Casa Manana have always been great, but they just keep getting better. Peter Pan was amazing. Costumes, setting, music, and actors were outstanding. I love the added attractions (i.e. giving away an autographed book).
Main characters were terrific. Play was a bit long, especially the long Captain Hook and pirates act. Little kids like the happy characters, the Hook act seemed added to extend the play. Loved the Indians.
My granddaughter was able to totally lose herself in the story. The production values were terrific. Clever stage usage and wonderful costumes set the ambiance. The flying was a bit stilted and not as impressive as I had imagined. I would definitely recommend it for any youngster as the appreciation of live theater is part of a well rounded child and makes for a terrific outing with granny.
This production of Peter Pan was very entertaining. However, Casa Manana never seems to start a show on time, leaving the little ones squirming in their seats.
Great performance! I took my 8 year old daughter and we absolutely loved it! The children's theater at casa never ceases to amaze us. My daughter is now inspired to be on the stage and we are considering camp at casa.
This was my son's and I first theaterical experience and WE BOTH LOVED IT! We will definitely be back for more! :)
Acting and singing were exceptional. Our 3 and 5 yr old loved it
My granddaughter & I enjoyed our Sat. afternoon performance of Peter Pan. It was delightfully entertaining & very well done by the whole cast, especially the gal who played Peter Pan & the man who played the father & the Captain Hook. The only problem we had that it was very cold in the theatre--should have brought sweaters!
This production far exceeded my expectations!! Acting and musical performances were great!
I took my granddaughters to see Peter Pan at the Casa Ma?ana. I have never been disappointed at productions presented there. The cast and scenery were wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed.
We really enjoy ourselves at the performance of Peter Pan. Our little granddaughter age 6 was on the edge of her set for most of the night. After the show the actors greeted guest and signed her personal copy of Peter Pan that she brought from home. All were so sweet to her and she will never forget the night. Thank you to all who were involved it was wonderful.
Great talent throughout the performance. Excellent sound, lighting, and special effects. Geared towards kids but very entertaining for adults as well. Would highly recommend!
It was a great stage show of Peter Pan. Casa once again has made a great show for both children and adults to enjoy. We all enjoyed it and would recommend it for others to see.
