The hockey playoff was just wonderful on every aspect. My grandsons team won the st a te championship. The stadium extremely clean and the staff were very nice and happy we won.
The arena was well taken care of—very clean. The people ate the entrance were cordial vs. overzealous rule pushers. Speaking of overzealous rule pushers—the people in the seating areas were ridiculous. They kept people in our area back five rows from the protective glass/plastic. This caused a shortage of seating for our fans. The local fans then began sitting with us. It was hard enough to watch our team losing, but to be forced to sit with the winning team’s fans was just cruel. It was even more cruel when the fans for Liberty loudly encouraged their team to score as much as they could into the end of the game when we most obviously could no longer win. Of course if we had been in our own cheering area, we would not have been surrounded by the rude, big mouths.
One of the best sporting events I have ever been to.
It probably helps that my team won but, I enjoyed my time at nationwide immensely. Parking and entry were easy. The seats may have been a bit close together but, arena is as arena does.
Great event hosted by Nationwide Arena. First class facility and service for a state final hockey game. Players loved the location. Don’t move the state hockey finals. Great having them at an NHL facility.
