Nashville SC History
Nashville SC joined Major League Soccer in 2020 as an expansion team, reviving the defunct United Soccer League squad sharing the same name. Nashville initially played at Nissan Stadium, home to the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, for their first two seasons before Geodis Park opened in 2022 as the team’s permanent home pitch.
Since entering MLS, Nashville SC have qualified for the playoffs every year between 2020 and 2023. In 2022, All-Star midfielder Hany Mukhtar received the league’s Landon Donovan MVP Award. The following season, Nashville added to their team accolades by securing a 10-match win-streak and advancing to second place in the annual Leagues Cup tournament.?
