The event was fun but the purses were not practical for the target market, that’s why the 3 tote style bags went first. No one in attendance wanted a $1500 rhinestone clutch. They wanted every day bags that people would know are designer.
Great experience tons of fun! Hope they do it again
Ribfest was great. Awesome food and good entertainment. Was not overly crowded. ViP package is the way to go.
Pretty fun event and was very professional. Will be going again if they host another event
We had such a great time! Dee Snider was absolutely AWESOME! He's still got it! Such a cool guy with a great voice. He seemed to really be having fun and had great stage presence. He got all of us fired up to rock. Would highly recommend him to others and would LOVE To see him again. Great choice Mystic! We also got a cool winter hat and gambling money. A very fun night.
Poor communication about when the bands actually started. Friday start time was too early for people having to drive across the city during rush hour. Location on/within the property wasn't clear. Might have been able to set up something to help with the rain on Saturday. Performances seemed shorter on Saturday - maybe because of the rain.
A quality concert both days and a lot of happy fans.
Dee Snider, Jack Russell and Bret Michaels were amazing!! Even the cold and rain didn't stop them!! I will never listen to "Once Bitten" again without changing the lyrics to "I sure as shit ain't dry baby"! like Jack Russell did. The only thing I would suggest is that Mystic Lake put some heaters outside to keep the crowd from going toward warmth right away. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing and can't wait to come back again next year for our third year in a row!!
The music quality was terrible and it was way too loud!! Should not have had Dokken as the warm-up and Dee Snider as the headliner, who was playing all his new music. Dokken was a much better headliner. The drinks and food were okay and inexpensive. There were some weird juvenille inflatable games set up that no one was playing. Games might have been played by teens to 20-year-olds, but target audience was 45 to 50-year-olds for 80's music. It seemed they were prepared for another 5000 people that didn't show up. Would have been a much better event in the summer. They did not have a plan for rain and so we didn't go the second night. We had had enough bad quality music on the first night anyway.
