Momix Tickets

My friends helped me celebrate my 55th birthday by attending Momix, Alice. It was very entertaining and unique. I prefer getting regular tickets, not on phone. And an actual paper program, not on phone. We did not know there was a program so we almost left like other people after the first act. Glad we stayed, the different types of music, and the costume changes with interactive videos were very psychedelic.

Heartily recommended for dance fans of all ages, including young ones. Very original, unconventional, surprising, beautiful, excellently danced.

The use of lighting and costuming were extraordinary. As always the dancers were engaging and moved with such alacrity and skill.

I was expecting a creative presentation loosely structured to Alice in Wonderful. I took my teenage granddaughter. Some of the dancing was creative and artistic. Two of the costumes were too risqué for a general audience. Unlikely to try something like this again.

This group has it all, fantastic athleticism and artistry, amazing costumes that are part of the dance, and great music and lighting. Our mixed age group loved every moment of Momix. Hope to see them in Tucson again.

Amazing images and projections…..athletic and graceful dance

While a night at the theater is always a bit magical, this show was stunning; simply stunning. From the moment the music begins you are drawn into the kaleidoscopic world of "Alice"and down the rabbit hole you will happily go. The passionate use of optical illusion by the company MOMIX is phenomenal! The choreography will have you mesmerized and leave you wanting more. The costumes and sets are perfectly wondrous. And, what the dancers and the puppeteers do with them is practically indescribable. I had an absolutely marvelous experience, and I look forward to seeing MOMIX in a future production soon!

I felt like I was dreaming and was absolutely enthralled with the performance, every minute. The movements of the dancers, the colors, the set....It was unlike any performance I've every seen. I highly recommend this and will not miss another in the future. Stunning show.

As Ny times author said “ Not that anything particularly wondrous was going on; quite the opposite. At that point in the show, the thought of simply stepping outdoors into the city night.” Music was not synchronize with the dances, it does not make you wonder about the next section for the dances, some of the dance moves were esthetically beautiful yet most is regular. I would not suggest anyone to spend their 90 min of precious life on this show.
