MITSKI IN CONCERT:
Songwriter, musician and performer Mitski has released five full-length albums. The most recent of which, 2018’s Be The Cowboy, was named Album of the Year by the likes of Pitchfork, Vulture, Consequence, ESQUIRE, and FLOOD, and the #2 Album of 2018 by The New York Times (Jon Pareles), NPR Musicand SPIN. It launched Mitski from cult favorite to indie star, landing her an extensive profile in The New Yorker and performances on Austin City Limits and Jimmy Kimmel Live! (she played The Late Show with Stephen Colbert following the release of 2016’s Puberty 2). After being off the road since September 2019, Mitski makes a daring return with new single/video “Working For The Knife,” which signifies a new intensity we haven’t yet seen from her yet. She’ll tour in 2022, playing theaters throughout the country, including Radio City Music Hall in New York, Shrine Exposition Hall in LA, Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and more.

Venue sucks! Took 2.5hrs to get there from San Jose..only to have the closest garage deemed FULL . Food at venue is subpar with a high price tag. Definitely bring a pillow as seats are only fold chairs for higher price or or cement seats for a lesser price. Getting in and out in a car is a nightmare. Will never do this venue again.
Some good songs were left out that were noticeable such as goodbye my danish sweetheart, brand new city, me and my husband, should've been me. Some more songs were sung acoustically and did not have the same effect as the album version of the song, The Deal and I Bet on Losing Dogs were the most noticeable songs that left everyone hanging. She had a great personality and we loved the giddy and goofy performance she gave us, overall a 7/10 a solid performance and I'd go again if the set list was improved and some songs weren't modified
The Greek theater was spectacular as always - beautiful, easy access in and out, plenty of restroom facilities… Two areas for improvement - Merch tables, what a farce. Too little access leads to massive lines and wait times, often forcing choices of whether to miss the artist in order pick up merch. More locations to provide access would benefit both the artist (for sales) and the attendees. - beer selection. Yuck.
Mitski is an amazing artist with beautiful songs And over the top dance artistry. The problem I had with this concert was that the base and the drums were so loud that I couldn’t hear the lyrics or the beautiful sound of her voice, which is what I paid to see.
The concert was great! Her performance, music, creativity and the respectful concert goers made the event memorable. My only beef was with the sound. Even though we were far (row 16) we could still feel the thump from the speakers. It also downed Mitski’s voice and beautiful lyrics. Otherwise a perfect evening at the Greek as always.
I LOVED MITSKI SO KUCH SHES SUCH A GOOD SINGER AND SHE INTERACTS W HER AUDIENCE SO WELLL INLOVE HERRRR
genuinely one of the best shows i’ve been to in my entire life, and i’ve seen prince lol. fantastic energy, extremely talented band, and just a wonderful performance overall—super worth it, i hope to be lucky enough to see her again someday.
The seating arrangement was cramped, someone was vaping behind us, and the performance was lackluster. Overall do not recommend. Was expecting something better for my first concert but was severely underwhelmed.
I loved every moment of the show! Mitski was mesmerizing on stage! Her movements were highlighted by the set and the lighting. I had watched her a couple years ago at a smaller venue, so I was worried something might be lost in a bigger venue. However, Mitski was so good, that the show went by much too quickly. I don't know what I was worried for. Of course, her performance was big enough to fill the bigger space! :) We got the added treat of watching Suki Waterhouse who opened for her too! This concert was the highlight of my birthday week! To top it off, we were able to get into the venue and through security quickly and efficiently. The staff was very polite and patient with us and the food we snacked on was delicious! :)
