Heralded as one of Polynesia's #1 commercial recording artists, Maoli has been credited with over 21 #1 Regional Island Reggae Hits. Since their debut in 2007, the group has been steadily on the rise, having performed in at least 42 of the 50 states, as well as New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, Guam, and Saipan Territories.
Maoli's music has matured into a sound and style constantly evolving to reflect and meet the eclectic taste of the group themselves and their loving fans. Maoli has developed their own unique sound by fusing the elements of Country, R&B, Soul, Acoustic, Rock & Roll, and Reggae. This "Country Reggae" has been labeled as heartfelt, uplifting, feel-good music with an impressive reach, enabling the group to sell out the largest venues in the state of Hawai'i.
At The i-Heart's Island Music Awards in 2020, Maoli won the "Album of The Year" award for "Sense of Purpose", along with the prestigious "Group of the Year" award. They were able to replicate that success in 2021 winning the 'Album of the Year' award for "The Breakthrough," as well as 'Song of the Year' for "My Reason." Among those awards include a 2020 Na Hoku Hanohano Award for "Reggae Album Of The Year." It's only through tireless perseverance and attention to artistry, that they were proudly able to achieve these awards completely independently.
The saga continues as the group continues to release a new, genre-spanning single every two weeks as a part of the Maoli Music Overload project.
Maoli couldn’t have delivered a better concert and experience! Awesome concert! A must see!
Both Fia and Maoli were incredible performers. However, I will not go back to this venue if I cannot afford boxed reserved seats. The general admission floor area was awful. 7' men pushing their way in front and spilling their drinks on people was not enjoyable at all. Otherwise, the bars, the stage, the sound and performers were fantastic. I've learned my lesson for next time.
NOT MY FIRST SEEING FIA AND MAOLI & DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE MY LAST! LOVEEEE THEM!!!
It’s been a while since I’ve been to a concert and Maoli did not disappoint! The music was incredible and the crowd vibe was exciting. I had the best night! I can’t wait for Maoli to come back to California.
I had SO MUCH fun seeing MAOLI live and FIA who opened for him was also amazing! It was such a fun energetic atmosphere in a smaller theater which made it that much more intimate. Highly recommend the whole experience! Def would go again if he performed there again.
One of the best performances and awesome venue to match!
The concert at Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu wasn't as good as I had hoped. I heard so many great things about him at last year's concert at the Waikiki Shell. The sound system was VERY BAD. Too much bass and wasn't good. The ticket said the concert starts at 7:00. We didn't know he had 2 opening bands, so he came on after 9:00PM. I think it was around 9:15. He didn't play for long. The circular stage, the light up bracelets and the screen were nice touches I've never seen before at Blaisdell, but kinda sad the sound system wasn't good. Even more bummed that we could've made the 7:00 dinner at Doraku instead of listening to 2 unknown bands for 2 hours.
Maoli always puts on a great show regardless of where they play. Typically, I prefer front row seating closer to the stage, however Glenn or whomever is in charge of the pricing for this event was over the top too expensive! Maoli was initially charging $1000 for front row seating which is the most expensive cost in the history of their shows. To charge Hawaii residents that outstanding amount is awful! Ruling off your very own Hawaii fans who've made them who they are is horrible!! This may have been my last time watching them live because of the lack of compassion for their own people in Hawaii. I make a good living and income but I will not pay more than $200 for VIP or front row seating. All the other OG bands would never do this to their own folks. Bring the prices down G!! You're losing a lot of respect from your long time fans and Hawaii residents especially after watching your "POD CAST"Geewz, being down your ego!!
Maoli Concert was amazing. So Fire ?? ?? Music, Lights, Sound. Just Perfect. Myself, My Daughter And Son-In-Law Enjoyed It.
Loved Maolis performance! The way the stage was set up was great so everyone got a good view of him performing. The bathroom lines however were really long; took me almost 30 mins.
