SoCal reggae rockers Tribal Seeds have shared the stage with some of the genre's biggest names on their journey from local heroes to nationally acclaimed headline act. Taking the stage with a surplus of good vibes, the band never fails to leave fans feeling irie at their live shows, putting songs like "Love Psalm" into practice with feel-good performances that span their catalog. With fifth album Representing all set to drop, the band will treat fans to another round of vibed-out shows on the Representing Spring Tour 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Brothers Steven Jacobo and Tony-Ray Jacobo formed Tribal Seeds in the mid-'00s, making their self-titled album debut in 2008 to a spot on iTunes Best Reggae Albums list. 2009 follow-up The Harvest was a similar success, making its way to No. 5 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart and setting the stage for extensive touring. The band's spiritual lyrics and positive message were a hit on the road, leading to appearances alongside giants of the genre including the Wailers, Stephen Marley, and Rebelution. In 2011, their EP Soundwaves peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae Charts, paving the way for the band's continued touring and a highly anticipated fifth album due out in 2014.

First time seeing TS. Great job. Super fun. Great venue, good staff.
Got to see Tribal Seeds here and it was good. They performed descent I was a little disappointed that Steven didn’t sing lead as much as he has in the past. Not sure who the other guy was that sang most of the songs. Overall Tribal Seeds still puts on a good show. Opening bands were really good I have to say. They were very into the show. The venue was cool, staff were nice and they have 2 bars.
Concert was wonderful. I just feel the venue sold way too many tickets . It was jammed packed.
It was a great show but the main event "tribal seed"the vocals could BARLEY be heard it was a big let down but the guys before them really saved the night!
One of the Best concerts I have ever been to hands down. The vibe was awesome and great performance
I’m so disappointed in Tribal Seeds, They got outplayed and out performed by the opening acts. Couldn’t hear the lead singer at all, almost embarrassing of a show. I thought the crowd may boo like they did in guitar hero when the band sucks. And apparently this is the feedback from all of their shows so far this tour. They used to be one of my favorite bands.
The mix on the sound was way too heavy bass. I left after 3 songs!
Great line up! Was very excited to see Tribal Seeds but unfortunately the singers mic didn’t work properly the entire show. Major feedback and you couldn’t hear him. Everyone was looking at each other wondering why such a simple thing to fix was left untouched?! All the other musicians mics worked perfectly. House of Blues really let me down. And I drove 4 hours to see the show. Probably won’t go back there. ??
We bought tickets for tribal seeds with VIP access. The staff at House of Blues were very friendly and accommodating. From the line outside (security) to the restaurant and the actual concert venue. The first two bands sounded great (Inna vision and Kabaka Pyramid) but Tribal Seeds sound tech was struggling from the start. The feedback and overall mix was disappointing. A very talented band and one of my favorites. No fault on the venues part.
