Excellent performance by all Principal dancers are superb.

So fun to see some very talented professionals in a gorgeous theatre! Along with the very kind staff and helpers, we had a very pleasant evening. Love Birmingham!

I want to support Magic City Ballet, because I believe in its stated mission to provide quality ballet opportunities and performances to the Birmingham community at large. I love the partnerships that it promotes, and the setting of the Lyric is lovely. Sadly, the quality of the performances is lacking. There is a large discrepancy in technique/skill between the more advanced and the less advanced dancers. This would not be a problem, except that the choreography is consistently a poor fit for the less advanced dancers. This applies to both the children and the adult character dancers. I feel that the quality of the performances would improve significantly if those less advanced dancers had smaller, more simpler parts.
