My first opera and I really enjoyed it, great evening at the Opera House
The best opera I have ever seen! I thought it was going to be just a show, but this production even shocked my husband whom never attended an opera before. One thing that I would change? I would take Orlin Goranov out as the lead, and put in Plamen Dimitrov. Mr. Dimitrov has a much stronger and more superior voice and perfect for a lead performer. I wish I could tell him this to his face. I thoroughly enjoyed his voice more than anyone else's. I can't believe he was passed up for the lead. His voice is breath taking!
Excellent for Daytona Beach! I was surprised. No disrespect to the Peabody but it was much better than anticipated.
This was one of my presents to my wife as she turned 80, and she loved it, as didI!The simple set was perfect and I liked how they rearranged it for the 2nd and 3rd acts. The leads had beautiful voices and we thrilled at "Un bel di." The pre-performance lecture was fascinating and informative, and we thought his piano and singing accompaniment to his info on the opera was inspired! Please bring more of this high quality entertainment that rivals that of our native new York City!
