I have been a fan of Machel Montano since I was small. I've been to most concerts in different cities. I love his voice, his message, and all of his songs. I met him twice and got some pictures. I even have a a Machel tattoo. I love and appreciate what he has done for we culture. I am proud to be a Trinbagoian (Trinidad and Tobago). Machel never disappoints, he has energy for days. I've been to his show at The Apollo three nights and everything was phenomenal and very memorable. I appreciate and loved seeing all the legendary artistes sharing their passion for we culture on stage. The Apollo has many history and Labor Day weekend 2024 made even bigger history. It was my first time attending The Apollo, I like the atmosphere. The staff was nice and organized.

Machel Montano did it again! My family and I had such a good time at the concert! Machel Montano knows how to put on a show. He also invited many other artists and the soca Queen Nadia Batson another favorite of mine.

Everything I thought it would be..???????????????.Trini Caribbean culture represented.

The show was good and I enjoyed seeing all the calypsonians performed. I do think the promotion was a little deceptive as it was promoted as a Machel Montano show with special guest…at least that’s what I thought. It wasn’t! In addition, the show started at 9:30pm and by the time Machel came out, he sang maybe 3 songs and the show ended at 12:30am. It felt very rushed as there was a hard stop at 12:30am. Overall it was a decent show!

From the moment my sister and I stepped out of our ride we were greeted with a pre-show of costume, music and stilt dancers outside the Apollo which set the mood for what was to come. The show was an unforgettable, phenomenal, masterclass - a one of a kind that only someone like Machel Montano could have the vision to put on. It was 3 hours of pure entertainment and nostalgia - no intermission! Machel came out to the end and I was a tab disappointed that we didn’t see Lord Nelson. Then Machel gave him the props he so deserved and my sister and I squealed when Nelson came on stage. What a night! I can’t stop talking about it and looking at the short videos I took and reliving it again when I see a little video highlighting the artistes on IG. Fantastic fantastic fantastic!! Thank you Machel.
