Rumors that Elvis is still alive persist nearly four decades after his death, and Kraig Parker just may be the reason. The skilled impersonator has been paying homage to the late great King with his pitch-perfect tribute shows for more than 15 years, and he's got the routine aced, from the infamous lip curl to the howling renditions of classics like "Jailhouse Rock" and "Hound Dog." Parker and his Royal Tribute Band blew fans away at their 2013 shows, making their 2014 tour dates the next best thing to a trip to Graceland.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Kraig Parker began his Elvis tribute project in 1996 after his impersonation of the King at an office party garnered rave reviews. Forming the Royal Tribute Band and Orchestra, Parker began to tour his act around the country, winning various contests and earning praise as one of the world's foremost Elvis tribute artists. In his 15+ years performing as the King, Parker has shared the stage with some of Presley's original singers including the Sweet Inspirations and the Jordanaires. He continues to channel the King as a tireless touring act, with another busy year of appearances scheduled for 2014.
