KHSAA Sweet 16 Girls Basketball Tournament Tickets

The officiating was horrific. You would think that the KHSAA would have selected officials that could keep track of even the simple things like when to shoot free throws or over and back…. The officials were so set on making sure sacred heart wins that they didn’t realize how poor they looked. Clearly the KHSAA needed sacred heart to win???? Based on the officials performance and the lopsided nature of fouls in every game they played it appears the khsaa manipulated the officiating. It was too obvious and it makes it hard to respect the khsaa and results of the tourn. The worst part is sacred heart is a good team and likely would have won most of the games without the officials help. Very sad and embarrassing day for Kentucky High School basketball.

My family and I had a great experience at the Sweet 16 Basketball Tournament in Lexington this past weekend.

Fans need to be assigned section’s not co-mingled with opponent fans to avoid verbal abuse that can lead to physical episodes that get fans ejected

The tournament itself was fine, the issue was obtaining tickets. I had to order online and it took me 30 minutes to find what I was looking for and then trying to figure out how to log on and order. And to be charged a 7.50 service charge is criminal. I had planned on attending 3 or 4 sessions with but that didn't happen.And I won't be attending anymore.

I had a great experience at Rupp watching girls basketball !

It's time they change the venue for Sweet 16, Rupp Arena is OLD and I mean OLD!!! The venue itself is very dated and needs horrible upgrades for the prices that are set. I'm proud to say our team made it to the final game but what I paid for to go to all the games and the amenities that Rupp has is NO WHERE near other venues. Even the sinks in the bathrooms have those old handles that you have to manually turn and "hold" to get water to come out... NOT AWESOME, but was clean...

I watched more games than one for more than one team and overall the refs were HORRIBLE. I truly do not believe they knew what they were doing. This was an absolute embarrassment for KHSAA and their choice of refs. Julian Tackett DO BETTER!! The environment, Rupp arena and staff were amazing though.

The seats were great. However, we were smack dab in the middle of the opposing team’s fans. When we chose tickets to purchase, it would have been helpful to know that!
