Kaleo was great but the lighting was annoying. The lights would flash directly at eye level into the audience making us all cover our eyes to the blinding flashing and sweeping lights. The sound was not balanced and the base was overwhelming the voices and lead guitars. Lighting and sound engineers need to be aware of these lighting distractions and imbalance of the sound.
Chillingly good. Wish I had a floor seat instead of balcony though! The crowd’s energy while sitting down was way too low for the talent on stage.
I purchased these tickets the day it was announced ! Love both Larkin Poe and Kaleo ! ! ! Vocals were greater than anticipated ! ! ! Their energy was amazing and honestly from beginning to end one of the best shows I have attended in my nearly 40 years of concerts ! ! ! If I could have skipped work the next day I would have drove to Houston to watch the show again !
Kaleo’s performance @ The Factory was amazing. I was inroduced to them two months. They are now on my playlist.
My first concert at the Factory. Very well run venue. We were originally going to Red Rocks to see Kaleo but once they announced a local show that became unnecessary. Opening act Larkin Poe was excellent. Great harmonies and really amazing slide guitar. Kaleo was even better than anticipated. Not sure is even Shorty Medlocke of Blackfoot was better. On the harmonica. Would definitely go again.
What an amazing show!! His voice is hypnotic!! Best venue for a show!!! So glad I was able to see Kaleo and their opening act Larkin Poe at Chicago Theatre. I was blown away by both Kaleo and Larkin Poe!! Those two sisters can rock and have a new fan!!
The Factory is the best music venue of its size in the STL area. Easy in and easy out. Safe free parking with restaurants in walking distance. Oh and the band was good too. KALEO was awesome and Larkin Poe was too!!
I lalalalove Kaleo and I have been following them since 2021. I went to Houston to see them for their Fight or Flight tour and it was my first concert ever, which was phenomenal. However, this time around, I was a little sad. Don't get me wrong, the music was great, the opener was fantasic, but it's like the show was missing something. There was little to no interaction. The band did not introduce themselves, no narratives about certain songs, it was lacking that little bit and honestly it made me sad. I had been looking forward to this concert for several months and I felt a little let down.If I just wanted to hear the music, and no back and forth, I would've stayed home and saved myself the money, you know? However, with that said, I still sang my heart out with each song, purchased merch, and will likely attend again.

Very talented group, but did not engage with the audience at all. Would have like to hear about who they are and where they’re from and something personal about the band. Never say them before and just didn’t connect because they didn’t connect.
What a show! What a Venue! Loved it!!! Kaleo Rocked, and the Chicago Theater is a Chicago Icon.

Kaleo has a great performance. The singer sounds just as great in person as in recordings and the music you could feel and hear all the layers cleanly. The guy on harmonica killed it and it was fun watching the rest of the band get into it and hype up the crowd. The crowd was a diverse mix of ages and being at the Chicago Theater with fixed seating kinda dictated the hype level kinda depended on where the age brackets were and the physical constraints to move/dance though. It was a lot of fun. I’d like to see them again.
Overall very professional and done precisely, though they could have played a lot longer.
Last night, I got to experience KALEO live, and let me just say—WOW. From the first note to the last, they completely blew me away. Their energy on stage was unreal, and JJ’s voice is even more powerful in person. You could feel every emotion in the music, and the whole crowd was right there with them. The band had the perfect mix of high-energy moments and raw, soulful songs that just hit you in the feels. Plus, the VIP experience made it even more special with an intimate mini-set before the show. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or hearing them for the first time, KALEO is absolutely worth seeing live. It’s a show that leaves you feeling alive. ??
They knocked it out of the park , They were fantastic
Purchased the vip sound check experience, and was surprised with a 1 song acoustic version and that was it. We also could not leave the venue (without risk of being not allowed back in until after admission started at 7pm) after the 1 song so we had to wait in the lobby of the theater for over an hour. It seemed very rushed, and that the fans were inconveniencing the band and the staff. Really disappointed in the value to watch a 3 minute acoustic song

My wife likes Kaleo but I did not know much about them. I went to see Larkin Poe. Kaleo was very good. Larkin Poe was Amazing! Rebecca and Megan put on a fantastic performance and the music was incredible. Our first time seeing them. They are now on my list of 3 performers that I will go see any time I can. The other two are Santana and String Cheese Incident. No knocks on Kaleo. They were very solid. I am just not that familiar with them.
I always love Kaleo shows JJ’s vocals are on point every time and the harmonica player is ??
