Expected something more but seemed like the same type song over and over agin so left at intermission as did many. Happy to support the island music programs and musicians though...
Wonderful Tunes Remembered as well As New!! Quite the "Picker""!
I’ve seen Jorma many times and it never ceases to amaze me that he continues to bring it every night. Can’t wait for the next show!
His voice is still crystal clear and his finger picking style continues to amaze!!
Stood off to the side of the stage, at the end of the bar. Looking out at audience as Jorma played, they were somewhere between awed silence and stunned silence. No one plays quite like Jorma, a virtuoso on the guitar.
Both shows at The Vogel were excellent! Songs were really good and Jorma does good too on the blues covers.
Jorma was on fire! He played seamlessly and sang perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed the Vogel at Count Basie Theather.
Jorma is a national treasure. His guitar skills, musical knowledge and performance savvy is par excellence. His acoustic guitar licks and playing style are phenomenal. I loved every minute of the show! I brought my daughter and son-in-law to see him and they were blown away. I only wish the show went on all night! Looking forward to his next tour through our area! Long live Jorma!!
The show was great we sat upstairs at a table. The staff was polite. We had a really nice time in Red Bank
