The “new” Antone’s is just fantastic. Sound is amazing, it’s intimate, exquisitely decorated, and the bartenders were absolutely the best I have encountered in Austin in a VERY long time. Friendly, knowledgeable, conversational, and excellent drinks. As for Jon Cleary, he’s a legend and put on one of the best shows I’ve seen in years. His Absolute Monster Gentlemen are monster musicians. I had a ton of fun, great night all around.

An amazing piano player. Would recommend to anybody is a fan of new Orleans style jazz , blues or funk.

Amazing!! Jon Cleary is a fabulous songwriter and musician. His new material was great and the new band amongst the best ever!! Jon truly has a world class band to match his superlative talents. Should be great things in the future for them. Can't wait to see them again and buy the album which i undersatnd will be out this year.
