I loved it. I grew up with his music and still love it just fantastic !!!!!
This is the third time I have seen John Waite in the past year. All the shows were great and Johns voice sounds just like it did in the 80s. His band is awesome as well. He had a new lead guitar guy who didn’t miss a beat. Did the meet and great and John couldn’t have been nicer and signed my albums and took individual pictures with each guest. Evan though the Bluegate is a 2 hour drive it as become one of my favorite venues. The Acoustics are great and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. So Richard Marx there last year who also put on a great show.
At 71, John Waite sounds as good as ever. I go to a lot of shows and Waite was impressive. The back up singer was a little weak, though his playing was better than average. Saving Back On My Feet Again for near the end, the crowd loved it! He finished the show with Whole Lotta Love from Zeppelin and his vocals were spot on. A little disappointed that he didn't sing Isn't It Time. The venue was great and the food trucks were adequately priced. Definitely a place I would visit again.
He played an hour and a half and didn't even scratch his catalog
After seeing John Waite somewhere around 12 times in the past 2 years, he is Changing for the better each time. Every song from his vast library is still perfect, as if Time Stood Still. Every Time I Think Of You rocks just as solid now as it did in the late '70's. The band is solid, having fun and playing strong with each set. As many shows as I have seen, the set list is different, and always includes an unexpected gem. May John Waite play on for many more years to come!
He still sounded as good as he did back then. It was a little windy at the pavilion, but, overall it was a good time.
John Waite still has it at almost 72 years of age. He played all the hits and a couple deep cuts and even threw Whole Lotta Love in for good measure. His band is really good as well. The Sweetwater Pavilion is a great venue to see a concert in, highly recommended.
Sweetwater was a great place to see a live show, John Waite sounded amazing After all these years and still put on a good show!
John puts on a delightful performance, the Soundsystem was awesome, and the venue very easy to access an exit.
John is a wonderful performer and his band was fantastic and energetic. John interacts in a personal way with his audience and this must be one of his motivations to keep performing! Just wish the show was a little longer.
