Jason Scheff put on an amazing and unique show--his brilliant voice and showmanship took us back to the hey day of Chicago as he wowed the audience with one great hit after another! Also, the Event Center service was impeccable! An unforgettable night!
Jason is an Elton John fan boy. He sang several EJ tunes. We were so disappointed he kept returning to the tunes. Bored all night. Best song came at the end of night - he performed a slowed down version of ‘25 to 6 or 4’ and it showcased his powerful voice. We loved it. We learned Jason is a great songwriter but the songs he picked did not showcase his voice. We all love EJ but dude we didn’t pay to hear you sing EJ.
Jason made everyone feel as if they were in his living room having a chat, telling stories, and at a private concert. My husband who is a drummer raved all night and all weekend about how Jason's level of talent is beyond compare. I saw Jason for 25 yrs during the time he was with Chicago so the Jason era of Chicago was my era. I literally grew up seeing him sing/play. This show brought out every range of emotion possible. Having just been through several years of difficult things (deaths, health issues, loss of furbabies, financial issues, etc) this show made me SMILE agin and for those few hours I truly felt like the old me. Thank you Jason a million times!!! Not to mention the venue is a GREAT place to see a concert, small private venue.
Jason is one of my favorite singers, and has been for many years. From his long career as the lead singer for Chicago, to his latest performances as a solo artist He never disappoints. The Southwest Florida Event Center is a great place to attend a show, I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. Food and drink menu was ok as well.
Opening act was very good. Amazing what a 16 yr old can do. He was also very good with the audience. Main act Jason Scheff was amazing. He brought his son Connor with him who did percussion, keyboard and guitar. Talented to the max just like his dear old dad. Jason also interacted with the audience and came out in the lobby to personally meet and take a pic with anyone who requested. The venue was great. 1st time there and I'll be back this Friday for Billy Ocean. Great food, drinks, staff and parking. I hope to see more events here.
