Janelle Monáe is an eight-time Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter, author, producer, actor and fashion icon. Her singular catalog of critically-acclaimed work — often exploring identity and futuristic landscapes — includes 2018’s Dirty Computer, which was nominated for the Album of the Year Grammy and hailed by Rolling Stone as a “liberated futurist funk masterpiece.” Monáe’s innovative, sci-fi vision began with her debut album, 2010’s The ArchAndroid, which received rave reviews, and Prince declared that Monáe’s second album The Electric Lady was the best album of 2013. Monáe has also acted in numerous films, including the 2016 Oscar-winning Moonlight and 2022’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Also in 2022, Monáe published her first book: The Memory Librarian: And Other Stories of Dirty Computer. She has headlined multiple concert tours that have supported her visionary albums, and features on fun.'s Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit "We Are Young."

by One of my favorite artists on 10/12/24Rating: 5 out of 5The performative experience in a manchester arena or a small intimate evening at los angeles haunted hayride this person is authentic, funny, inclusive, supportive, and non stop. Their shows are visually stunning and energetic. You can tell they love what they do. They have opinions and have no problem standing for what they believe in. Their music alone speaks for itself it is a whole vibe!! I wish the world for them. Thank you for using your light as a beacon.

Original went to see lute but I saw their fans dressed up and stayed for the vibe and I'm glad I stayed. Janelle monae had a dazzling set with dancers, musicians, and outfit changes. Beautiful lovely vocals I totally see why she has a Grammy

I absolutely LOVED the show. I'm so glad I got to see this album and Janelle Monáe live! I hope she comes to perform in North Carolina again.

The bar charged med 35 for a shot of Jose Cuervo and a beer I could have grabbed from the any gas station for $5 max. Venue almost took me out the vibe and def was not bc of lack of funds. Just think there should be more bang for buck as far as perks for dropping that bread. Maybe merch or souvenir cup/sock bc zamnn.
Incredible Experience for a Great Cause

I appreciated all the intermissions reminding everyone about how important it is to go out and vote and exercise your constitutional rights! The ACLU put on an incredible lineup of socially conscious artists, including Tierra Whack, Lute, Janelle Monae, Elora Dash, Moses Sumley, and Heldao Negro! In addition, it was great they included appearances by a myriad of local grassroots organizations and spotlighted the importance of supporting these movements!

3 hours of vocal talent and incredible costumes

All the other instrumentalists were also incredibly talented and the costume design was to DIE for. It was an amazing and multifaceted experience, the price I paid for the tickets was a steal!
