Electronic music pioneer Howard Jones has been a constant presence on the international touring scene for the past four decades, playing live in a number of different configurations including intimate solo shows and dates with his full high-tech band set-up. He first burst upon the contemporary music scene in 1983, with his very English songwriting and pioneering synthesizers with "New Song". His first two albums HUMAN'S LIB and DREAM INTO ACTION were worldwide hits. HUMAN'S LIB reached #1 in 1984 in the UK and featured the hits "New Song," and "What Is Love?" In 1985, Jones released the follow-up, DREAM INTO ACTION, which quickly became a Top Ten Platinum album in the United States and featured the smashes: "Things Can Only Get Better," "Life In One Day," "No One Is To Blame," and "Like To Get To Know You Well."
Howard Jones has sold upwards of 10 million albums worldwide and continues to make new music and tour the world. Jones has performed on NBC's top-rated morning and nighttime shows respectively, Today and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His ubiquitous hits can be heard in such high-profile television series and films such as "Stranger Things," "Breaking Bad," "Watchmen," "The Carrie Diaries", "Superstore" and "Bumblebee". Howard Jones' most recent album is DIALOGUE, which was released in September, 2022. DIALOGUE is the third album in a trilogy of electronic releases from Jones with multi-media project ENGAGE coming out in 2015 and studio album TRANSFORM out in 2019. DIALOGUE garnered serious coverage in outlets such as Spin, Stereogum and more.

Loved these groups growing up in the 80's. They sounded as good as they did over t0 years ago. Had a blast reliving my youth.
From Haircut 100 to ABC to the man... Howard Jones... it was such a blast! The Capitol Theater is already a wonderful venue to see anyone. The crowd's energy was infectious. Each act was not only great entertainers, but they were, note-for-note "on"- and shook it all up (not just playing their songs like the original records). They were interactive with the audience constantly making it a fully party interactive show. Howard especially... his joy in our joy was a palpable back-and-forth. I am wearing my over-priced tee of his as I write this! Ha! Couldn't resist!! The only complaint I have is: that the "lesser"of the VIP packages was not worth the extra money by far. The special gift was "meh"and the early access to merch was barely 5 minutes because it was run so poorly. Then when we got there, the person selling the merch was so rude and obnoxious to everyone - to the point we almost walked away. Really ruined the experience and made the tour look bad. Thank goodness the artists were as magnificent as they were. Run, don't walk if they come to your town!
The concert was sold out which is not a surprise. Howard Jones always puts on an awesome show. He sounds great and we enjoy all the positivity he shares with the audience. It is so wonderful to hear his music.
Great concert from groups who still as good as they were in the 80's. Great venue and staff !
I first saw Howard Jones back in 1984 and several times since!! Nick Beggs on bass is fabulous!
Just amazing! Uplifting! Brings you right back to the 80’s feel good music!
Howard jones and his band kept us singing and laughing all evening. Everyone was dancing and singing and having a great time. So fun!
All the bands were great! ABC has been one of my top favorites since they appeared on the scene so long ago. It was marvelous to see Martin Fry “in person”. Howard Jones is an amazing musician. So glad I got the chance to see them all.
Show was great. Started promptly. Haircut 100, ABC and Howard Jones all were great. I couldn’t get reception to open my phone ticket. Who knows if the battery runs out. They helped me at the box office but I’d just as soon print my own ticket and not worry about it. They ran out of hot dogs early! Come on guys, easy money.
