The Psychedelic Furs scored in the ‘80s when John Hughes featured “Pretty in Pink” in his classic 1986 teen comedy Pretty in Pink, naming his film after The Furs’ song. Led by lead vocalist Richard Butler and his brother Tim Butler on bass, the band’s 1981 sophomore album Talk Talk Talk (featuring “Pretty in Pink”) debuted on the Billboard 200. Their follow-up, Forever Now (1982) included the Billboard Hot 100 hit “Love My Way,” a staple of ‘80s Top 40 radio.? Their 1987 release Midnight to Midnight because their highest-charting album on the Billboard 200 and featured the hit single “Heartbreak Beat.” The Furs went on hiatus in the ‘90s and reformed in 2000 for a co-headlining tour with The Go-Go’s and B-52’s. In 2017, the band's 1984 song "The Ghost in You" was featured in Netflix’s Stranger Things.?

The Furs live performances always exceed my expectations. They play all the hits plus their new material. The Furs are always tight, and the sound is good. The raw talent of the band makes them a “must see” when they roll through Texas. The best part is, they seem as happy to perform for us as we are to see them. High enthusiasm and high engagement with the audience. Two thumbs up! ??
Psychadelic Furs were never necessarily one of my top bands. But I love 80s music and they were really good. It looked like the singer's monitor might have cut out on one song and he seemed a bit off-key on one song. But aside from that it was a great concert!
The sound system needed to be maintained throughout the concert. They sounded great at the beginning, but by the end, they sounded terrible. Also, it was very difficult to see. I recommend you angle the floor higher in the back. I will not return until these changes are made.
The Psychedelic Furs were amazing. They transported me back to the 80s.! They sound just as good as always! The opening act was not that good!
First Concert I've been to with no merch and they didn't sing all the good hits that they have. so many missed songs
Opening act Black Lips were relatively unpolished for a group been together that long. Furs were FANTASTIC!! R Butler a skilled frontman in classic rock style. He was incredibly gracious to the audience. The band absolutely ROCKED. The sound had a harder Rock edge than original releases. Universal a nightmare to navigate. Building extremely cool. Seating cramped and uncomfortable to distraction. Never seen The Furs before. I'd see this tour again. Great job, boys. Thanks for making the world young again for one night.

The sound system sucked!! Thank goodness I had ear plugs, I couldn’t even hang around for the encore!!
Enjoyed the show, although the sound was a little flat. Opening act was not my cup of tea. Would like to see return visit at the Sound.
