My friend girl and I had a wonderful time. I was happy to see Howard Hewett looking well, health and still as handsome ever. I enjoyed how Mr. Hewett mingle with the audience dancing and holding hands singing to the ladies. No we weren’t one of the lucky ones I was satisfied just being there. Wish Howard Hewett much success.
I love Howard Hewett. However, I paid good money to sit front and center to watch him perform "on stage."Don't get me wrong, I love the way he stayed connected and moved through the crowd on the floor. But!...I think he forgot where the stage was. He spent way to much time on the floor out of the line of sight for my taste. I had a crook in my neck trying to look over the crowd to see him when he was off to the side against the wall. He stayed off the stage way too long. I will pay to see him again, because I am a true fan. I just want to actually see what I paid for. Anyway, that's just my 2 cents.
Everything was perfect. From the singing to the band and the lighting and the stage production.
Howard never disappoints. He engages the audience and takes us on a musical journey. Like a fine wine, he's gotten better with age. When he hits and holds those high notes it transports us back to years gone by. Granted there are usually more women in the audience than men. However Howard's sultry voice and tantalizing lyrics, as he says"men I'm trying to help you out". Howard always concludes his show by giving thanks to God and encouraging the audience to join him in praising the lord with, Say Amen.
Jeff Redd was excellent as always. The show was awesome everyone was good.
Outstanding performer and person. It was a full house at City Winery Chicago. Howard Hewett kept the audience engaged the whole time and played our old school favorites as well as new hits. Can't wait to see him perform again. Come back soon to Chi. ??
I grew up with these great singers. The only disappointment was that Alexander wasn't there.
Howard made sure he came to satisfy his audience. You could tell his missison to please us he knew his assingment and i applaud him him doing so. thannk you Mr Howard Hewett....
This concert was the worst concert I have attended in a while. Howard Hewitt was ok but I left after his first song. Mike Howard was pretty good but she couldn’t hit her high notes. Cherrelle was the worse. She sounded terrible and had on some plain clothes and kept talking about how old she is. Keith Washington was the best artist.
