Been around for a long time and still sound great. Wonderful and talented musicians.
Flawless execution of their all time favorites that transported us to a very happy place.
One of the best concerts I have ever been to. I have waited a long time for their return to Chandler.
Hiroshima Was Great !!! Enjoyed Every Minute !!! June On The Koto Was Fabulous, Truly No One Plays The Koto Like Her Anywhere In The World , Dan Was Great Playing Multiple Instruments, Land Great On Drums , Kimo Played Great On The Keyboard !!! Dean Played Great !!! Love This Group
Hiroshima has been one of our favorite musical groups for many years. When the opportunity to see them in Pheonix came up, we jumped at the chance. It became even more meaningful when we learned that after 43 years, this was to be their final tour performance ever. Dan Kuramoto, who was the spokesperson for the band said that they would take a break, but he hinted ever so slightly that live performances might still be a possibility. We can hope! The music was fantastic June is a genius when it comes to composing and performing with the koto, an instrument that instantly infuses their music with Japanese nuances and themes. They played several of their greatest hits, but the explanation June gave about A Thousand Cranes made it even more memorable. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the opening act, Naturally 7. This a cappella group from New York City not only sang but also used only their voices to bring drums, bass, guitars and horns into the mix with perfect realism. Throw in great choreography and they were the full package. To sum it up, this was a fantastic performance by two world-class groups. We are so glad we were able to be there.
I am so happy I was able to see Hiroshima, have listened to them for decades.
Just got lucky with these tickets, didn't realize this was their last tour nor that this was the last show of the tour. We have always loved Hiroshima and they were excellent as always. Managed to get third row seats with a great view of the stage. We have seen Hiroshima in concert three times. They gave a concert in Lancaster, CA where they stayed after the show and each band member autographed a t-shirt they were selling for $10.00 which is incredible. I still have the t-shirt, never worn, never washed! They are unmatched for their style of music!
I did not expect the Induction to the Hall of Fame to be an entire ceremony or event like the Oscars. For that, I was very disappointed. I expected a full concert. I was grateful for the 30 minutes or so that they played, but again, not at all what I expected. I would not have purchased the tickets had I known.
For the best music you could deliver. Saw you every time you came to the DMV since 1989. Thanks for the cool
Hiroshima at the Birchmere was a great concert. The venue made it an up close personal experience and Hiroshima performance was outstanding. Their music is timeless and they performed as though it was a private event with friends. Truly great performance. I hope this Domo Tour is not the last we hear of them.
