Hippie Sabotage on Tour
Electronic music duo Hippie Sabotage fully embody their moniker, lighting up venues with trippy LED visuals while attacking the stage with huge beats, booming bass and endless amounts of energy. The Saurer brothers may have pushed well over a billion streams online, but it's nothing like seeing them command a stage, especially when Kevin's behind the boards and Jeff busts out his guitar. Since going global with their remix of Tove Lo's "Habits (Stay High)," the duo have brought their smooth, heart-pounding productions to cities around the world, dominating at top festivals like Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits and Electric Zoo, and selling out shows on their own headlining tours.
Hippie Sabotage in Concert
Before they even hit their teens, Sacramento brothers Kevin and Jeff Saurer started crafting their own music. They first focused their attention on hip-hop, creating instrumental beat tapes. By the late ‘00s, they decided to give themselves a name: Hippie Sabotage, inspired by their father and grandfather's initials, H.S. They began collaborating with rappers like Yukmouth and Calez, and eventually morphed those hip-hop beats into more EDM-based songs. In 2013, they released their first EP of original material, Vacants, but it was a remix that would soon turn their life upside down. That same year, they reworked Swedish pop singer Tove Lo's "Habits (Stay High)," turning it into a dark, woozy dance track that eventually peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and shot up numerous other charts around the world. This sudden rise inspired the brothers to release more material, including a number of singles and EPs and soon their first full-length, The Sunny Album. Their sophomore album, Providence, followed in 2016 along with the Options EP, a collaboration with producer Cubic Z of DJ Khaled's We the Best Music Group label. They continued that partnership for 2017's Drifter, and by the time they set off for their 2018 national tour, they were boasting over one billion streams and counting.

I went on a whim and haven’t heard many Hippie Sabotage songs, but they made a huge fan of me after this concert. I also thought The Astro was one of the best concert venues I have been too. Plenty of walking around areas, the bar was very quick, I never had to wait more than a minute for my drink order to be taken and filled. It was such a fun concert !
The show was more that I could have imagined and the venue was bice
Had the best time! Danced so hard. The venue was fun too
Everything about the concert that night was so amazing and wonderful. I can’t wait to see them again next year.
Hippie Sabatoge was amazing live. The visuals and lighting were top notch. The crowd was very chill but hyped for the bands a great bunch of people to enjoy the show with. Ive been listening to them since about 2006 this was the first time i went to see them in concert and let me tell you they are even better live Hippie Sabatoge played on stage for about 2hrs maby a little longer and they rocked the place.
This show had so much energy and good vibes and BASS. This was my first time seeing them, it wasn't quite what I was expecting....IT WAS EVEN BETTER! 10/10 <3 Would definitely see them again.
I jam out to Hippie Sabotage every day for the last year but after seeing them in concert, I will not plan on seeing them in concert again. The two opening artists, Daisy Guttridge & Kembe X, were awful as well. All 3 bands didn’t sing, everything is pre recorded. Jeff and his songs are great, Kevin is not. I am very disappointed in this whole concert, I’ll still jam out to Jeff’s songs like Trust Nobody.
A true immersion into bass and musical visuals with performers who enter the crowd physically and spiritually
We had a great time. I was able to bring my mom and my little sister and it was a whole party for sure. Not really age appropriate but I’ve seen worse lol. Great music and great vibes for sure.
