Hayden Hubers, better known as "Hayd," is a 23-year-old multiplatinum singer-songwriter from Whitehall, Michigan. His music, characterized by a blend of melancholic singer-songwriter vibes and introspective lyricism, has comforted audiences worldwide.
Hayd found solace and expression in music after enduring a challenging breakup during high school. Beginning his musical journey as a means of emotional release, he started writing his own songs and sharing them online. In 2019, he gained traction by emailing his music to popular lyric channels on YouTube, gradually building a dedicated following.
His breakthrough came in 2020 when a snippet of his track "Changes" went viral on TikTok, propelling him into the spotlight. At just 18, he signed with Interscope Records, foregoing college to focus on his music career. His debut EP, "Changes," released shortly after signing, achieved remarkable success, accumulating over one billion global streams.
Relocating to Los Angeles in 2022, Hayd found synergy with fellow artists David Kushner, Chance Pe?a, Jonah Kagen, and Sarcastic Sounds, collaborating and refining his craft. The same year, he embarked on his first headline tour across Asia, performing for a collective audience of over 30,000 fans. He also made history as the first international guest artist on "The Masked Singer Vietnam," singing his hit single "Head In The Clouds."
In 2023, Hayd showcased his versatility as a songwriter, penning chart-topping hits such as "Daylight" (1B+ streams) and "Burn" (110M+ streams) for David Kushner, as well as "I Am Not Who I Was" (180M+ streams) for Chance Pe?a. The following year, he joined Chance Pe?a as the opening act for his sold-out US/EU tour.
Hayd's eagerly anticipated sophomore EP, "HOW CLOSE AM I?," is slated for release in August, preceding his headline world tour scheduled for September. With his distinct sound and poignant storytelling, Hayd continues to captivate audiences globally.
