The Balboa Theater was really perfect for this show. The sound was great and the original vibe is cook in the theater. The concert was extremely short at 1:15 minutes. The artist was talented and did some very nice songs and the drummer was great too. But it didn't meet the expectations of the videos on Facebook that sold us on the drummer being upside down and playing and I think having a few other instruments such as wind, flute, saxophone, and violin could really improve and diversify the production. It was enjoyable but a bit expensive for the show that was put on compared to other artist. I go to a lot of shows and this one was good but could be better with the talent of these artist and a better production management. And more drums for sure. I think the drummer only played 20 minutes of the show and that wasn't enough in my opinion as that is what brought me to the show. I like the piano and Yanni is one of my favorites, but the drums and putting something together with it is a must. Work on it as it has huge potential but it definitely left short. It seems like all the productions from Europe lately are falling short. Not sure if its pretension, a disconnect, or just not sure, but European and English bands need to bring it with a bit more effort as I think our expectations are jaded by bands like Imagine Dragons, Dave Mathews, Brit Floyd, Jewel, Jason Mraz and so many great American and some Brits like Mumford and Sons and Brit Floyd. Brit Floyd just needs to pick a better venue where you can stand and dance.
