Haste The Day made the best comeback! What an epic performance!!!
I've been to a lot of show this years and this was one of the best hands down. Haste The Day sounded amazing, you'd never know they broke up. Emery and The Almost were also fantastic. HOB Blues San Diego is a stellar venue with great lighting and visuals. You can take great pictures at that venue! Will definately be back to the venue and future Haste The Day shows.
All the bands were great. Haste the Day especially was amazing!
This being their last concert & held in their Home Town of Indianapolis it was phenomenal. The energy from the band was out standing.
As two people who have seen Haste the Day many times at various venues, we can say we have a good gauge on their performances. They have never let us down, and always leave us wanting more (in the best way!). When we heard about the album release show in NYC, and that it was just 1 of 4 shows, and all of the members would be there -- we were thinking MAYBE it would be too good to be true. Well, the show at Irving Plaza on Friday (4 days ago) still gives us chills. The set list was a perfect combination between old and new. The energy was out of this world. And they had the perfect vocals on all songs. The first opening band was extremely disappointing, but The Ember Days was a fantastic lead in. We only wish we could Haste them in Indy next!!!
I drove 10 hours round trip and it was worth it. The guy next to me drove 17 hours EACH way. What an amazing display of energy, sound and talent! Loved it!
the original Haste The Day line-up played their first show together in years and it was great. It was almost as if they ever left. Their hometown crowd was racous and hungry for this show. HTD sounded like they had been touring over the last five years and you couldn't tell that they'd been on a long hiatus. Their energy and proficiency were through the roof. They're expected to play a few more dates, mostly overseas, throughout the year, so you need to see them if they come anywhere close to your neck of the woods. We drove two hours to see these guys and I'd do it all over again. The only thing holding me back from giving this 5 Stars was the overall sound mix. It was okay, but not great.
I bought the concert tickets for my fiance, so I went for him. I personally dont like this kind of music, but all the bands were good performers and made the show enjoyable even though i'm not a fan of their music.
I will NEVER forget this concert. Five bands...each one of them awesome. Several bands let people out of the mosh pit and let them dance on stage with them. Also, one band had the guitarist jump over the stage, across the fence and jammed in the audience right next to me. Band members were also hanging upside down on the rafters. People were swinging off the rafters, too. The band and audience were like one.... everyone I took with me made it into the mosh pit and were able to get up on stage if they wanted to. My son shook hands with the lead singer from Haste the Day when he got propelled forward. Just wish Haste The Day wouldn't end! They were awesome...Stitches, Madman and White as Snow...never forget
