This concert was my favorite concert I have ever been to. The opportunity to meet GZA and play him in chess blew me away. Wu tang is my favorite hip hop crew and GZA is the illest. This experience will be remembered forever!
GZA commands the spotlight with infallible ability. A true MC.
He was great, my girlfriend who was not a fan going into the concert even really enjoyed the experience
Amazing performance. Listening to the live instrumentation on these classic cuts felt great. What held it being back from a 5 star performance was the overall energy, which is to be expected. GZA is performing this album every other day, so keeping the energy as high as some concert performances I’ve seen is a tall task. I still had a blast watching a legend perform this classic album.
11:30pm and still wasn't performing. Left the venue
The GZA was outstanding, as was his band. The background graphics and the lights were very cool as well. Good venue, good vibes. This show was a great time.
Show started at 730 and we left at 1030, Gza still hadn’t gone on. Had to endure 3 hours of terrible opening acts with zero information about when Gza would perform. Who knows when he performed? At 11? 12? Next Wednesday? We may never know.
Doors opened at 7:30 and it was a nice venue. I expect openers for concerts, but not 3 hours of unknown people that the audience doesn’t care about. GZA did not come out until 11:00 and if I would’ve known in advanced, I would not have gone. GZA was great as a performer, but it’s hard to say it was worth the wait because the three hours of openers were miserable.
Great show I’ve been going to this venue for 10 years and the experience is always amazing
