Not really what I was expecting, I had never been to one but thought it would be more interactive than just a room of people listening to a DJ play music. It was experience I would like to visit in a different as I’ve seen those seem more interactive.
Best party I have been to all summer!! This is my first year attending but I will make sure I come back every time it’s in my city from here on out! The vibes were EVERYTHING! Music was lit. There’s no tables so everyone is up standing and twerking! You gotta go!

One Afro beat or reggae track would have torn the roof apart. I know your theme is grits and biscuits but it’s 2024 the culture in NYC is reggae and Afro beats.
G&B as we knew it is a thing of the past. It was fun while it lasted but it now belongs to the young and ratchet.

Took me back to house party days at A&T in riverwalk! It’s a vibe all the time!
I’m a vet when it comes to G&B. I have caught the vent several times in several cities and it’s always a good time EXCEPT for the smoke (in Charlotte). I wish the Fillmore would find a better way to control patrons that come in and fill the air with smoke or give a disclaimer to expect that so I can choose not to come. It really changes the experience and it’s hard to dance and sing while fighting off smoke being blown in your face.
First time going and probably the last. Music was out of date. Vibe wasn’t really as hyped up.
