affordable family experience, we all had a blast. From ages 7 to 67 we've been to 3 games. Everyone just want to go to another and they haven't won a game yet. The games are competitive and the entertainment is fun for all ages
Went to the game with my daughters and it was low key fun especially with the little events in between timeouts and the #Redpanda at halftime she is amazing. Good affordable, healthy fun for me and my girls.
Took my grandson to our first Gold game..amazing seats, prizes, the level of play..the whole experience!
I took my kids and it was very family friendly. Staff was very friendly, and the players too. Even after losing by 20 points the players signing autographs were very happy and friendly. Thank you Grand Rapids goal for a positive experience.
I must say, the energy in the arena was absolutely electrifying. From the moment I stepped inside the arena, I could feel the excitement building. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of anticipation and energy that was contagious. The game itself was fast-paced and exciting. The players on both teams were incredibly skilled, and the back-and-forth action on the court had everyone on the edge of their seats. The fans were engaged and enthusiastic, cheering loudly and often, which added to the energy of the game. What really stood out to me, though, was the energy and passion of the Grand Rapids Gold fans. They were truly invested in the game and the team, and it showed in their vocal support. Every time the Gold made a big play or scored a basket, the arena erupted with cheers and applause. It was clear that the fans were truly proud of their team and were there to support them in any way they could. Overall, I would highly recommend attending a Grand Rapids Gold basketball game. The energy in the arena is truly electric, and the passion of the fans is infectious. Whether you're a die-hard basketball fan or just looking for a fun and exciting night out, a Gold game is sure to deliver an experience you won't soon forget.
This was our first Gold game. The basketball is played at a very high level and great to watch. These are guys that you may recognize from their college career, some of which have a 2-way contract, meaning they play for the Grand Rapids Gold and also see playing time for the Denver Nuggets. My wife and I went with our 11 and 15 year olds. The ticket prices are less expensive than what I was expecting for that level of basketball. We didn’t sit court side but it is an option that we may explore at our next game. It is a family friendly experience that included a fun giveaway where t-shirts are thrown out every time a Gold player hit a 3 point shot. The concession lines were a bit long on the upper concourse at halftime; hint: take the stairs to the lower (street) level for a much shorter line, or no wait at all in my case. We’re looking forward to our next game.
The experience was GREAT beginning to end. The staff was very nice. Seats were great. We will continue to come back!
From kiss cams to putting contests, the Gold and their team put on a great show for a cheap price!
Like most events, all was good, but the markup on food and drinks in the venue is ridiculous.
