A great blend of jazz and funk with Incredible percussion ensemble and a couple of horn players that blew my mind
Ghost-Note is incredible, can’t be denied. Would have been a SIX out of five but the sound engineer at the atlantis was not great. The levels on the horns were off and the lows were way too pronounced. I also didn’t feel the new singer elevated the experience and was mostly an on stage dancer, which was a distraction. Ghost-note is so solid and high energy already, it felt like an unnecessary addition. Even so, a great show!
Run do not walk to the next Ghost Note show. Absolutely incredible from start to finish! Nothing like it!
This group is so tight it'll have you butt shaking
Ghost Note concert was supposed to commence at 11:59pm, but instead the walked on stage an hour late. Some of the singers should have listened/memorized to the music in advance and not try to read the lyrics off of their phone. Not as professional as P, but very enjoyable for 2.5 hours of non-stop funk.
Although it was advertised as a "Phish Afterparty", Ghost Note gave Prince fans an amazing way to close out the year. The funk was undeniable! The guest singers Stout, J Hoard, and Redd Devoe did an excellent job, and musician Chris Rob really set off the lineup!
Excellent show! Truly celebrated the spirit of making music. The opening act Philthy Funk was incredible. My face hurts from smiling, voice gone from cheering, feet sore from dancing.
