George Balanchine's The Nutcracker Tickets

Thank you Alabama Ballet- beautiful job dancers! We love this Christmas tradition !

Having grown up watching the Nutcracker ballet every year for most of my life and then having one of my daughters perform in a professional production for 9 years while living in Atlanta makes me a more seasoned spectator. I understand why Act 1 has minimal dancing and it is geared towards the children in the cast having more opportunities and even having the kids in the audience see more of a play than a ballet but I wish this act was shorter and included a parents dance like so many other Nutcracker versions do. Overall, we are thankful to have a professional company in Birmingham that presents these productions and outreach programs and appreciate their efforts to promote the arts in AL. The guest artists were magnificent!

Superior, all way round. Re-visiting Nutcracker after 45 yrs, it was just as magical as I remember. The major difference is, I bought lots better tickets this year??

I go to see The Nutcracker whenever I can. I love the music - the story - the costumes - the dancing - especially the Balanchine! This year I took my 12 year old grandson who has just recently joined the orchestra at his middle school in Atlanta! I had hoped to have him experience an actual orchestra playing a classic well-known score which I was sure he would enjoy! Much to my dismay there was no orchestra - and to make matters worse the recorded soundtrack sounded awful from our seats in the 3rd row of the orchestra section! I certainly understand why there were no live musicians - and I do believe that it was still a great experience. I feel I just had to vent my frustration at what I consider to be half the Nutcracker experience without the orchestra!

First time seeing the Nutcracker, at first was not sure I was going to like the show, but the end of the First Act and the entire Second Act brought me around. Thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Beautiful dancing! Beautiful costumes! Beautiful music! And my granddaughter was amazing ??

Awesome view of the dancers! Great dancers! Great version of the play! Best ever in my opinion! And this after our daughter performed in both the Alabama Ballet and Bham Ballet years ago!

Another perfect performance from the Alabama Ballet!

I have seen The Nutcracker in several cities and the talent of the dancers in this performance is by far the best I have ever seen!

Took my daughters and grand daughters to the ballet. It was fantastic. Everyone loved it.
