Cut Short
by Tom on 9/28/24All Seasons Arena - North Dakota State Fair - MinotThe music was great! However they had a mix up on the schedule and only played 45 minutes. They didn’t play many of their best songs, so that was disappointing.

GAELIC STORM IN CONCERT:
"High energy", "fun-filled", "tremendously talented", and "the ultimate party band" are just a few of the ways that ticket buyers have described Gaelic Storm in concert. The five-piece Celtic band specializes in blending traditional Irish music with modern rock, whipping up a dance-ready sound that appeals to music lovers of all kinds. At their raucous live performances, you'll see rock fans who love the band's infectious energy alongside folk fans captivated by their entertaining stories. Along with fun renditions of traditional Irish and Scottish music, the band is also famous for their crowd-pleasing comedic banter and their easy ability to engage the crowd with sing-a-long favorites like "What's The Rumpus?" and "Drink The Night Away". With no signs of slowing down, Gaelic Storm is an unmissable live act that concertgoers won't want to miss.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Led by founding members Patrick Murphy and Steve Twigger, Gaelic Storm started playing at pubs in 1996 in Santa Monica, CA, stunning audiences with their modern take on Celtic music. Their big break came in 1997 when they appeared onscreen as the steerage band in the Oscar-winning film Titanic performing "An Irish Party In Third Class". The exposure led to extensive touring and they've since performed throughout US, Canada, UK, Japan, and France. They've also become a staple on the cruise ship circuit, where they've toured alongside major acts like Bare Naked Ladies, Zac Brown Band, The Beach Boys, and Michael Franti. Their tenth album, 2014's Full Irish, compiled the band's greatest hits from 2004-2014 and became their fifth consecutive release to top the Billboard World Albums chart.

Enjoyed performance. Thank you for your comedy. Was a time of laughter and fun.
I've been listening to Gaelic Storm and The High Kings for years, but this was my first time seeing either live. Such a great experience! I'm pregnant right now, and baby was dancing a jig in there the whole concert so I think she liked it too :)
The first band was passable. Didn't love the singing. The second band was better. Three very nice singers. But the sound was much, much too loud and that is why I probably won't choose to attend another concert at the Town Hall again. I was disappointed.
Noting against the High Kings, but Gaelic Storm is too talented to be an opening act. GS has a ton of great songs. They need to headline their own tour again.
Gaelic storm was wonderful, as anticipated! Wish the venue could find a better situation for concessions!!
What a wonderful event. BOTH bands were awesome and loved when they played together at the end. I recommend going to their next concert.
A fantastic show! Not only was the music absolutely grand, both bands came out to the lobby afterwards to sign autographs and talk to the fans. An incredible memory and a fantastic time!
The High Kings-super as always. Gaelic Storm great craic. The Waterbury Police Pipe and Drum Band was icing on the cake. Extra special event.
Gaelic Storm and The High Kings are such incredibly talented groups of musicians! And when the two groups come together it is pure magic. We had an amazing time singing along and dancing to the music!
